I'm not done but I had a feeling there would eventually be a suicide scene and I didn't think I could handle it in context so I googled it and I watched it. Jesus fucking Christ. I am so glad I did not watch that in context. That was truly the most graphic suicide scene I've ever seen including the girl who hung herself in girl interrupted. Fuck man.
Ugh thanks for the warning. Don't think I will be able to watch.
If you are sensitive to cutting or other self harm, I recommend passing on it. I am far enough removed from that time in my life that it's not triggering to me, but several years ago it would have been.
The most difficult part of that scene for me was when the mother walks in and thinks there is chance she was alive. She slips on the floor trying to get to her. Broke my heart. Then the dad walks and screams and goes to his knees.
I plan to be all up in my kids business. Like so far up their ass they will hate me forever.
Also it's in episode 13. So if you don't want to watch it ...don't. But watch the rest of the series.

Serious question: why did she have the water running? Just to block out sound?

I was trying to figure out why it was over filling. Like I am not even sure it was running. And I can't even try to watch that scene again. I can't imagine what was going through someone head at that point.

I watched it before I'm there in the show, so I guess I'll have to watch it again.
The guy that plays Tony looks to be about 28 years old.
I thought he was an undercover cop and googled spoilers but I guess that's not true
You grow to love Tony. One of my favorite characters. There is one confusing scene that I didn't understand as they show him helping his brother beat up someone. I didn't get that at all.

I'm still hung up on how big his hair is. How does he even get it to stay like that? Amazing

Not sure how far you have gotten but his hair and style makes sense.

What do you mean? I'm almost done
That is is gay. I hope that doesn't sound like I am classifying him at all. But his unique style and the fact that he is a DJ and him being the only guy not to bust a move on Hannah. His hair was just not surprise for me.

If someone figures this out please let me know
Also I cannot figure out the scene with the kid with the camera hiding whatever he was putting in a chest from his parents. Does anyone know the context of that scene? I must have missed it

Eta: Tyler
Which episode was it? That kid looked like he had arsenal ready to go on a shooting rampage in the last episode.

That was what we thought too! But then nothing came of it

He was definitely hiding the gun that he bought but there were tapes in there as well. I think it was also a little fake out to make you think that he was the one in the ambulance with a gun shot wound. We don't find out who it actually is until right at the very end.
Now all I can think of is that cringe worthy episode of friends where joey is like "I coached another actor to play the role...ho-mo-sexually"
Oh and the even more obvious one where phoebe tells chandler he has a quality and he asks if it's his hair and she says "yes you have homosexual hair."
Idk how old the kids in the show are supposed to be, but my 16 year old is getting a matching tattoo this summer with me. It's something personal for us, since she's dealt with all of the issues apparently present in this show.
Which is fine but I feel like that's fairly rare. Numberois characters have tattoos. I get that the actors probably had them and they're not going to hide them but that was definitely not a thing at my HS.
And I have a visible tattoo so it's not like I'm shocked or opposed. It's just not something I've seen before.

During cheer uniform fittings, multiple girls had a tattoo somewhere. Most of them had it somewhere where clothes normally cover it (they're usually wearing spanx and a sports bra for fittings).
And when I help out at dance recitals, it wasn't unusual to see a tattoo on the older girls.
And these were dancer and cheer types. So I don't think it's that unusual.
Hmm I didn't realize that.
ETA: I think I'm so surprised because my parents are very anti-tattoo and there's absolutely no way they would've EVER let me get one in HS. Heck, they weren't super thrilled about the tattoo I got at 29.
I got my tongue ring when I was 18. I never was a fan of tattoos but my very christian conservative cousins all have tattoos and got them when they where young.
I stayed up way too late to watch the last 4 episodes last night. The last 2 were so hard to watch. I thought it was well done and I think not only should teens see it, but I think parents should see it, no matter what age their kids are (well, not adult aged kids). All the things they did - drinking, sneaking around, sex. Yeah, that all happened when I was in school in the late 80's. I can only imagine it's the same or worse now.
