Sephora VIB or Ulta Sale- What are you going to buy?

I'm putting my list together today for Sephora and may be placing an Ulta order tonight. I'm curious what's on everyone else's list, since mine is pretty small.

What are planning to buy from either sale?

I might get the Make Believe in Yourself (or whatever it's called) palette.

I also need new mascara. I've been using LCL for years, but want to try something new. Maybe a UD one?

I wanted to get the Nars eyeshadow palette with the Ulta coupon but it's out of stock. I think I'll get the velvet lip glide in Le Main Bleu. I'm still looking for a golden peach/rose highlighter (maybe Too Faced Ray of Light?) but other than that, I don't have anything I can think of that I want from Ulta. Maybe I'll look at skincare, I need more retinol.

My Sephora list: Marc Jacobs gel liner in black, a golden highlighter (debating between Dior luminizer, cover FX or Marc Jacobs), the Nars palette if Ulta doesn't restock theirs, maybe a viseart palette. I don't think sephora has the amethyst one yet though.

I might cash in my Ulta points. Probably a NARS lipstick, but not sure yet what else. I've been thinking for a while that I really want Naked 1, so maybe that.

Sephora - Bite lipstick in Porcini. Maybe a lip pencil. Bumble and Bumble blow it straight hair stuff.

I'm also going to need a refill of the Drunk Elephant day serum and I really want the eye cream. Trying to decide if I should continue holding out for a Derm store sale or not.

- a few UD backups
- loofah
- anything else I can find that I need that's a good deal

Not sure I'll get anything at Sephora, except maybe some DE. (But like ESF , I've been holding out for Dermstore. They eventually come through)

I wish there was something from UD I wanted grr but I probably will grab one of those new Tarte lipsticks. Nothing too big though I'm getting close to 2000 pts than I'll go nuts lol.

This post reminded me that I ordered the Make Believe in Yourself palette from the Tarte F&F sale. I just checked the tracking and it should be here today, yay!

I have 5X on UD right now and was thinking about picking up a lipstick. For the 20% off I was thinking about cashing in my points for a bunch of skincare stuff, but I'm not sure I'm ready yet. I'm still trying out some Drunk Elephant and First Aid Beauty things, plus Differin.

Skincare is frustrating because whether things go well or badly, I'm never quite sure if the biggest influence is what I put on my skin vs. the time in my cycle; doing more than one new product at a time means that you're not quite sure which one is having what effect; and it's really hard to do comparative testing because it's all so subjective and some things take more time to have an impact than others. I like trying new things, but I don't relish the guinea-pig feeling that comes along with trying to get skincare "right".

Maybe I'll look at some anastasia singles from Ulta, she has such pretty colors.

Tell me about the Hey Honey. What do you use it for/what step in your routine?

I use the Good Morning one and I apply it after toning and before moisturizing although in the summer it can double as a moisturizer too. For me it really brings a glow to my skin. I feel like my face looks kind of dull if I'm not using it. It also helps as a primer. Face primers do nothing for me and I think it's cause I'm already using the Hey Honey. Love this stuff.

So I just made my Ulta purchase. H needed some Jack Black stuff, so I got him that, a refill of Gimme brow, some lip balm, Naked 1, Becca skin perfector in brushed amber, and NARS lipstick in Jane.

I cashed in 2000 points and paid $71. I earned 515 points in the process because they gave me ten times on the palette. (Anniversary plus the 5x on UD)

I have no business buying a new neutral palette, but I've been on a huge brown/neutral kick and dreaming of it for a while. Wouldn't have got it if I didn't have points, but still got the 10x for it. Ulta, how I love you.

It was in an email yesterday or the day before. It might also just be listed on the app in the bonus offers to activate it.
