SallyJ, have you looked at Yes to Coconut's overnight hydration cream? First time trying it out tonight, I saw it today at Ulta when I went to get face wipes and since it was BOGO half I thought I'd give it a try since I'm out of my Lush skin drink and won't be able to get over there for a week or more. Soaked in really quickly and just a light coconut smell. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

It has coconut oil and Shea butter. So I can't use it. I had to toss the cerave pm because after 4 days of use I was back to square one with cystic acne.
I need to find a gel moisturizer I think. I don't want to use rose hip oil because it stains my bedding. Overnight moisturizer is the last item to search for. And the cystic acne reaction I have makes me want to give up the search.

What about argan oil?
It is a high oleic acid oil. I have to use high linoleic acid oils.

Every time I run across a new moisturizer I think of you. This search is HARD. The few I've seen without 'cones all have the wrong kind of oils/butters in them.
It looks like some of the Mario Badascu creams might not have your no-no's...I've liked several of their products that I've sampled, but i haven' ttried any of the straight up moisturizers to offer an opinion on them.

Yep. It's the nice creamy part. All the products my skin doesn't like also make the products feel nice. I might just live with stained bedding. Unless I can find a gel moisturizer.

You can sleep on a towel. I've do that if I go to bed with wet hair that's freshly dyed. When I go dark, it can bleed for awhile.
Do you all order your The Ordinary stuff from Beautylish or straight from the company?
right from The Ordinary.
However, from reading comments on their Instagram, it sounds like shipping is extremely delayed, due to high order volume that they weren't prepared for. I ordered on May 1st and mine is still processing. Someone said they were told 3-4 weeks before orders are shipped, if you placed an order for the foundation. They ran out of pumps or something?

Well, I just went all in and placed orders from both places. LOL Some stuff that The Ordinary was out of, Beautylish had, and vice versa. I got a notice about a 1-2 day delay at Beautylish and a 15 day delay at The Ordinary.
Here's my Beautylish haul:
Caffeine solution
vitamin c 23% + HA
rose hip oil
Buffet
The Ordinary:
Niacinamide + Zinc
Advanced retinoid
Azelaic Acid
AHA 30% + BHA 2% peel
lactic acid 5 % + HA
a lot of the above stuff I have had in various formulations from Curology so I'm excited

I am packing for a trip where I won't be wearing make up for most of it. Plus space is an issue, etc., etc. so my skin care routine is light and I'm only throwing in simple basics. It's a little odd, considering I usually fill my train case to the brim.
I love watching empties videos, but I always find it odd when YouTubers include empty sheet mask packages and the packages for cotton rounds, etc.
Also, I don't know how they can have a bin of empties sitting around the house and not get itchy about it. I LOVE tossing something in the trash or recycling as soon as I use it up. Such a good feeling about it.

Me too! I'm using contacts lenses cases to pack product. It feels odd.
OMFG. I just accidentally knocked a MAC shadow off the table (one of the singles), it opened and the shadow popped out onto the floor. Didn't break, but then I realized that apparently the extra dimension shadows aren't in a freaking pan, so I've just got the loose eyeshadow round flopping in the package now.
Guess I need to go find a tutorial on how to re-press shadows, stat. Thank the heavens that I have some new shadow pans around b/c I thought about pressing some of the pigments I have and never use.

Just to let you all know, my The Ordinary order shipped the day after I ordered it, so it must just be contingent on what you order. Save

Fresh Seaberry Oil. It's a high linoleic acid oil.
I am am using this right now because I had a nice sized sample bottle. It is light and absorbs quickly.
I am very loyal to Sunday Riley Juno because I get great results from it, so I have already re-purchased that for when the Fresh sample is gone, but I definitely did like it!

I have found my HG brow product: Benefit Gimme Brow. It works so well with my thinning brows that are also turning white. Got it done by a makeup person on Friday and tried it on myself yesterday.
I also found a light foundation & primer combo that seems to work with my skin - Laura Mercier Candle Glow with the moisture primer underneath. It is very light in coverage for a foundation but I want that. I also like the Body Shop BB cream. So, a few makeup items are now working for me. Yay! After weeks of not wearing anything.

Hello! I wasn't sure what the etiquette is re:newbies. So I just thought I'd say hello in one of these random threads before jumping in head first. I don't have a ton of time, so I might not be around all that often. But, after looking at my growing pile of makeup I've been forced to admit that I am, in fact, a makeup person. Which, by the way, is fantastic. I am LOVING learning all these new things and taking time for myself to make myself look fab. And since most of my friends aren't makeup people, I thought I'd play around in here.
Damn it Too Faced! I love their cocoa powder foundation and I've been worried they'd get rid of it or change it with all the new stuff coming out. Well looks like Sephora isn't restocking it anymore as they only have 2 shades left. I need to grab a backup from Ulta while they still have my shade. Grr I wish I would have noticed while I had a points promo going on.

This is my holy grail and don't bother to find dupes, as nothing compares. It is soooo good.
