I broke my skin & makeup no-buy only a week into it. Ugh. I knew I should have made my H do that Ulta return instead of doing it myself.

While I was there, I saw the Ulta beauty rainbow highlighter and I'm oddly enamored by it. I'm not into this colored highlighter, unicorn everything trend in beauty. But, for some reason, I can't stop thinking about that stupid highlighter.

I have figured out what is causing my skin peeling/flaking thing - Azelaic Acid. I did a lot of research and it seems that, while it works very well with rosacea, one of the side effects is flaking/peeling of skin. BUT it's meant to go away after a few weeks of constant use. I never gave it that chance, so I'm going to see if I can keep using it, clear up the rosacea crap and then the flakes go. I will also do a bit of minor exfoliation that I know doesn't hurt my skin and moisturise, moisturise, moisturiser. I've cut out all other acids for the time being and introduced face oils as well as the other hydrating Asian stuff.

I got the rainbow highlighter and it's not that great. I was so excited about it and texted my sister immediately. The next time I saw her, I wore it, and she was like "oh. it just looks yellow". I noticed it also didn't hang on my skin long, so it was a bust.

Officially made the transition from Sephora to Ulta. Just ordered a new hairdryer and Tarte's Make Believe in Yourself palette. Each had a GWP and each had 5x points.

The thing is, I always get 2-day shipping coupons from MAC so I'd rather order from MAC than deal with Ulta's slooooooow ass shipping. Plus I have a MAC store nearby.

But I'm also imagining all the Ulta points I can accumulate though.

Speaking of Ulta, I grabbed some sheet masks the other day and the Tony Moly pumpkin mask rang up as 93 cents (all others were full price). It's not marked clearance or anything, so if you see them, stock up.

I'd been panning the original Naked pallete. I traveled with it over the weekend and the whole packaging fell apart. I'd already hit pan in 3 shades, so I'm calling it good enough.

After weeks of waffling, on Sunday, I pulled the trigger on some new perfume. I narrowed it down to two Jo Malone scents - Mimosa Cardamom or Nectarine Blossom Honey. Finally decided on the Nectarine Honey. My package arrived today with Nectarine Honey. Except when I opened the box, inside it was Mimosa Cardamom. So apparently the universe has spoken.

I still want Nectarine Honey, but this smells so damn good that I'm not going to be able to bring it back.

I signed up for 3 months of Boxycharm and thought it was a total waste. Every box had a ton of highlighter... I don't use that. But 3 months in a row, really, they could not pick another theme?

I know a lot of people here complain about Ulta's shipping, but I never have an issue. Last month I ordered stuff and it came within a few days. Yesterday morning I placed an order and got my UPS shipping confirmation... it is scheduled to be at my door Saturday.

I got a Nume curling wand (5x points on hair tools plus the 20% off coupon) and I'm excited to play with it this weekend!

Nordstrom Rack had UD sheer lipstick for $10, so I bought one. I like this formula for everyday use. I need to go back and get a couple more in my favorite colors (F-bomb and Catfight) because it's a good price.

Yeah Boxycharm became overwhelming really fast while also having meh makeup products. I enjoyed the full sized skin care products the most from them but I'm glad I canceled a while ago.

My birthday was yesterday and my coupon goes through 6/16. Not sure about combining the 20% with it though.
