Ok so I had a hair tie around my wrist for maybe an hour? It wasn't overly tight, I forgot about it. But then I took it off and it looks like this:
That will stay like that for awhile now. It always happens. And even loose socks, booties where they hit my ankle, and slightly tight pants, etc will leave impressions on my legs. The internet tells me this is pitting edema and there's a scale, testing by pressing on my leg seems to be that I'm only a 1 on the scale.
Is this something I should be worried about? Other than it makes my legs look dumb if I change from pants to shorts?

I can't see the picture to see how severe it is, but for the most part it is pretty normal.
Edema can be caused by a lot of different things. If the swelling is abnormal for you, you're probably retaining water for whatever reason high sodium, pms, etc). Lots of water can help flush it out. If it's really bad and/or uncomfortable, I'll take an OTC water pill or soak in the tub/pool and it will help pull it out. If it's severe, weeping, or prolonged, see your dr. It could be caused by many more severe issues.

This does happen to me too. It seems to be worse when I'm dehydrated. Or at least my version of dehydrated. I drink a ton of water but I definitely swell easily when I haven't had as much as I'm used to.
