Last week DH accepted a position in my hometown for the end of August so basically on top of my regular cleaning (which I'm behind on) I need to sort through the mess in the guest room & pack. Other than that: therapist appointment and baby group meetings. I think my FIL is visiting this weekend? I should ask DH!

Crazy busy and exciting week here! New windows start tomorrow!! So packing for my dads today, the boys and I will stay tues, weds, possibly thurs (if needed). We are planning to go to the pool, brewery and park, and maybe a beach or harbor walk. I should contact an old neighbor that lives in their community too (used to babysit their kids who are now in high school and college) to have a short visit.
Taking the boys on a walk between naps today and maybe a play date or trip to the park after naps.
Thursday and Friday is juggling their needs/having fun and getting our house back in order. No plans for the weekend but hopefully will do something fun!
I don't feel like I'm going to die of sleep deprivation today so that's a plus! H stepped up this weekend to let me get some much needed rest and it's amazing what it's done for my outlook.
Today is off to a good start. My girlfriend came over with her two girls today. Her older DD and mine are only 3 weeks apart and our babies are only 6 weeks apart. The girls played so well together and it was nice for some adult conversation.
Thursday we are going up to my parents. My mom wants to take B to a local water park and I'll stay at their house with G. H will meet us there after work and we'll all spend the night. H is taking off work Friday and my parents will join us at the boardwalk. We want to walk the beach and put B on the rides. Looking forward to it!
wineandcheese - I'm only 2-3 sessions away from finishing up my sleeve! I'm hoping it's 2, but we'll see how long I can sit through on Friday. We're doing my elbow and it's going to suuuuuuuuuck. lol.
Had my first post-op sinus clean out this morning. My nose HURTS now, but of course, I can't take anything good for the pain.
Getting a pedicure while I await prescription refills. Then some studying. Have a monitoring appointment this afternoon to check my lining, and my expectation is that it will be thick enough and we can transfer Friday or Saturday. Of course, that means I would have to start PIO shots tonight which in dreading.
Tuesday: studying Wednesday: renewing my BLS/ACLS, then working after Thursday/Friday: scheduled to work (may need to call out Friday) Saturday: possible transfer day!
This weeks plans so far: (not including my work out plan I posted in other group) Mon- baby group Tue- DD has a doctors appointment Wed-dragon boating Thurs- DDs TB X-ray Fri-nothing planned Sat- nothing planned Sun- going camping for the week/next weekend. (Leave on Sunday, come home following Monday)
I do need to grocery shop/pack everything for the week long camping trip as well.
Tomorrow's doctors appointment for DD is for her cough she's had since the smoke from the fires. The smoke hasn't been around for almost a week but the cough is still here so DH is freaking out about it. So I made the appointment to check it out. He is defiantly over protective of her.
I had a day off today and took DS to the children's museum, which he LOVED. Then we visited an old coworker of mine. I am hoping to hang with the neighbors tonight. I only work a three-day week this week, so I am pretty happy!

Good luck with your transfer pooh8402! Hope it works for you!!!
awick14- better safe than sorry. It's probably nothing since baby coughs always linger but with all the fires you want to be sure that it's nothing more than a simple cough. Good luck packing for your camping trip!!
Super busy but fun week here. Zoo, the beach, a museum, birthday party, etc.
More notably, my husband CLAIMS he will finish the bathroom this week. I'll just be in the corner holding my breath and alternating between curses that it isn't done, and cheering for him to do it You can all comfort me on Saturday if this is another let down.
Our marriage is in such a good spot that I've basically just been letting this project slide to avoid any semblance of conflict, but this grace is about to run out.
Oh, and my business officially opens Aug 1 and that means I need to finish all my marketing materials, get my business cards and photos, etc. Almost done but need some finishing touches.
luv2rn4fun So when they do new windows do they remove them one at a time, and instantly install the new one so you're never left with a big hole in your house? Do they move any of the wood trim around the window frames? Just curious what the process is like.

Honestly, I have no clue what they are going to do. I know they are using the existing frames, there will be 2 crews (6 guys), it's going to take 2 full days, and I was told it would be noisy and not to expect the boys to nap (so they advised that we go elsewhere). I do think DH might have to paint some of the wood trim but it should hopefully be minimal. Also, our existing window treatments might not fit after we do this (which is going to be frustrating because we just spent a lot of $$$ on these, literally a year ago when we moved in).
amaranth - I actually have three spaces left to fill, but two of them are smaller than normal so I'm hoping we can do more than one in each session.
My plan for Friday is a purple pansy on my wrist and a daffodil on my elbow. If we can get all of that done, then my last session will be an orchid on the top/cap of my shoulder and filling in all of the background. Most of the background is done on the outer portion of my upper arm, so only about half of my arm still needs background added.

Had my doctor's appt today, my 2nd beta draw on Friday was 50 so things are definitely moving out. I am praying it's back to normal when I go for my next draw next week. Since this is our 3rd loss we now get to do the recurrent miscarriage testing, so yay. :N: Basically we'll just keep trying and they'll try and figure out what's going on. (It could, of course, just be bad luck.)
We're in Estes Park CO right now! Enjoying vacation minus a hiccup with my GPS. We were about to leave Mount Rushmore with no phone signal when CO didn't even show up on my GPS! I have no idea what happened. We set it for Cheyenne WY and got some WiFi at a random gas station to look up directions but we ended up finally getting phone signal in Cheyenne so we used our phones. Such a mess!
((HoneySpider)) I hope you are able to get some answers, friend.
The hubs is heading to ATL for an internship. My parents are coming up to stay with me. Dad is helping me look for a new car this week as well. Wish us luck!!! I know I want a Honda CRV. I just have to find the right one with AWD.
awick14, thank you. Me too! Right now all I can stomach are ice chips. I'm running a low fever too, so I think this is a bug rather than related to all my shenanigans today.
When we had our windows replaced one guy was removing windows and another installing. So they might have a couple windows out at the same time but would get the new one installed that day so the house wasn't left open for long. It's amazing how fast windows can be installed!
We just have normal stuff going on this week. Hoping to hear something back from one of the places DH applied.

You are seriously a saint! Your DS is so young and you have L to care for too. I don't think I would have been ok with DH leaving, even with my parents coming to help. Good luck with everything and I hope you find a new car easily!!! Wish I lived closer...I would come snuggle DS and bring C should he could help entertain L!

Good luck to your DH!!! Hope he hears something soon!
Yeah, my neighbor was surprised it was taking so long and I am half hoping they will get done early (and I can get us packed and back home for naps on Weds). Likely not happening since we have 24 windows, 2 sliders, and a French door. But I can hope! Being at my parents is not ideal when it's two of them vs me (they both have to work) because the house isn't really child proofed and C is always into everything. It will be nice to see them the little bit they will be home but I am already looking forward to being back to normal...and new windows!!!
