I dug back until I found the picture. She's so lovely and spunky, k3am. I'm legit crying on my phone screen. Happy tears. I hope the rest of this stays relatively smooth for all of you.

The surgeon says she could technically go back Monday. We've been planning to keep her out until the 18th at least, but I'm not positive she'll allow that. Needless to say, she'll be ready to go back long before I'm ready to send her back!!

Wow, great news all around! Glad the nonmove out of PICU was for overcrowding and not because of her condition. It's a little scary the tumor was larger than expected but so so glad they were able to see it and get it out!

We're doing pretty darn well. We're in the "how do we get this crap out of her hair" stage, which obviously means we're comfortable focusing on the superficial. We have a follow-up appointment on Thursday and should get pathology back in 3-6 weeks. Hopefully they're able to determine what kind of tumor it is this time. (Last time it had characteristics of three kinds - one that if you're "lucky" enough to get a brain tumor, it's the kind you'd hope for, one that's middle of the road, and one that's shitty.
