I've been shopping for months, so I only have a few items left to get each kid.
DD (6): Misc AG toys and accessories, Dollie & Me outfit, balance beam, mermaid blanket, a few book sets, Fingerling monkey, Echo Dot for her room, karaoke microphone
DS (3): Imaginext Batcave and Batman vehicles, several Rescue Bots sets, 16-in bike, Fingerling monkey, air soccer ball, stomp rocket. I need to get more because his birthday is Christmas week.
Hobbes is turning 2 next month. So far I know she's getting from us (for birthday + Christmas -- haven't decided what is for what yet): - navy blue Patagonia down sweater, size 2T - a hat to match - Patagonia Synchilla fleece vest (she's very tactile and loves soft things)
I've been recommending to relatives who ask, that she needs more books, and possibly more Duplo blocks.
Other relatives are getting her a tiny child size table & chairs for home.
I am entertaining buying an unfinished wooden toy box and finishing it for her for Christmas (birthday ain't gonna happen in time).
I'm not sure what else. Maybe some kid-safe costume jewelry; she loves to try on mine.

I am going back and forth on getting DD (turning 1 11/4) a kitchen for Christmas. Thoughts? If she doesn't get it this year, she'll get it for her birthday next year, but is 2 too late? I know she's on the younger side, in my ideal world I would get it around 18 months. I don't really want to start any traditions of big gifts outside of birthday/Christmas but it's not like she'll be old enough that she'll start expecting big things all the time. The benefit to giving the kitchen this year is that it makes telling other people what to buy her super easy.
E will be 29 months. Honestly, he has too many toys already. I'm thinking we'll get him an activity table to put his trains on, probably with a reversible lid that does duplos. I'm adding duplos to his Christmas wish list as he has outgrown the mega blocks. And additions to his train set.
Yes, we do Santa. I think he'll kinda grasp the concept this year.

DS is about the same age and this past weekend was actually the first time he has played with his mega blocks in months. Do you think duplos are much different?
View Attachment We got this Hot Wheels table for DS (4). The box is currently under a blanket in the guest room. We told him it's a Christmas gift for his baby sister, so hopefully he will leave it alone for the next two months...
We will likely get him another small thing, maybe a game and a few puzzles, and of course books, since I work at a bookstore and it's pretty impossible for me to NOT buy books.
We'll get DD something, but she'll only be 3 1/2 months, so it will probably be books, clothes, and maybe a stuffed animal.
I have my eye on this for DS, who turns 3 in December. I'm thinking it would be good for his bedroom so he'll actually want to play in there when I'm upstairs doing chores, nursing the baby, etc. Need to see how big it actually it.
He wants a tool bench, too. A small one is about $50, but I think it'll be closer to $35 with coupons. Aside from that, I may rewrap gifts from his December birthday. Too much stuff for one month!

He got a small set for his birthday an d plays with those quite a bit. I was hoping to add to them. Plus, they're more challenging.
mbcdefg yeah I was just thinking of something practical! I’m going to get monogrammed stockings so we obviously need stuff to go in them lol. We’re planning to start solids in December so I figured I’d do a little food/eating theme in their twin colour. (Baby A always has green and Baby B always has blue) I really want two jolly jumpers - mostly for the side by side photo ops, but we just don’t have the room until we develop our basement.
kdubs923 I would very much like a dinosaur taco holder for myself lol
mccallister84, my daughter’s birthday is 11/12, and we did the kitchen last year, the Christmas right after she turned 2. I felt like it was perfect.
DD is the same with the TV commercials. She asks for everything she sees, including ridiculous infomercial shit like Stompeez slippers (she wants the Batman ones, despite having NO idea who that is). DD (will be 3 in November, this stuff will be split between Christmas and birthday) so far I have; -mini trampoline -baby doll furniture -board games (Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders) -Little Live Pets kitten -we do the want, need, wear, read from Mom and Dad...Santa goes crazy
DS will be 3 months old. I’ll get him some little stuff like books and small toys so DD doesn’t wonder why he’s not getting anything.
I have no idea. None. DS (3.5) has yet to find a toy that holds his attention for long. So far all I have on his list are preschool workbooks, a zoo membership, the Cars trilogy, kinetic sand, floor puzzles, and Disney gift cards. If I ask him what he wants he tells me dinosaurs but we have so many already, of all kinds.
DD (will be 17 months) is even harder. What don't we already have? I put books, a museum membership, Disney DVDs, Little People, and Disney gift cards on hers.
DD's 8th birthday is right in the middle of Hanukkah. I wish it was more spread out, but oh well. For her birthday we're giving her a Melody doll (AG) and all her Hanukkah presents will be AG stuff. mostly clothes for the dolls, but also a matching outfit for DD and a Tenny book set that comes with a mini doll.

L will be a little over 2.5. I’ve thrown some things on an amazon wish list for ideas for our families to buy her. Magnatiles, Doc McStuffins Doctor bag, Cabbage Patch Naptime Baby and some Paw Patrol racers are on the list. We will likely get her some new craft stuff - looking for ideas on that. PlayDoh, puzzles and some trucks - she’s obsessed with trucks!
I’m welcoming new toys, she’s kind of outgrown a lot of hers so we’ll rotate a bunch out to make room.

I'm done for the kids except for ornaments for 1, 2 and 4 and then a few things for stockings for them all I have a good list of ideas going for H, just need to purchase.
DS1 is 7 and wants several Lego sets, half of which are retired. I thankfully found them on eBay for not much more than their original retail. I'll spread them amongst Christmas and his birthday in March.
DS2 just turned 5 and loves animals. We got him the Lego duplo around the world set as well as a few safari themed sets of Playmobil which I know he'll love.
DS3 turns 4 next month. He's getting all sorts of Blaze stuff and Dinotrux MegaBlocks (Lego knock offs).
DS4 turned 1 last week. He's getting a set of play food, a blanket (needs his baby blanket), his baby book (lol), and otherwise I guess I'm kind of still shopping because he's hard to shop for being the youngest of 4 with us having kept everything in between kids.
Yes, we do Santa.
Oh. And we bought a friend's 4-wheeler because 1, we know it's history, and 2, it's a great deal. It's the perfect size for our kids growing up and our property size. They're going to be thrilled.

Following for ideas! E will be 3 in Feb. He is spoiled so much that we don't even buy a lot of gifts. I'm thinking more practical things from us but this is what I have on his list so far:
-Books -Clothes -Toy vacuum (that actually works) -"Real" silverware (kid sized, not the plastic ones we have) -Anything Paw Patrol
DD will be about 2 weeks old at that time depending on when she shows up. I don't really have a list for her since it's not like she can open presents or anything, lol. Probably just clothes, soft toys, maybe a few books. She will also be just as spoiled as her brother (if not more) so I'm not worried about her lacking gifts!
DD is 4 - she wants that huge LOL Surprise thing that hbombdiggity secured for me at her Target (woot!).
She's also into the tiny little Hatchimal eggs (they're like $10 for a 4 pack) so I grabbed those. I'm hoping to also get her a microphone/karaoke machine if anyone has suggestions, and a Harmony Care Bear.
DS is 2 and I have no clue what to get him. He just got a lot of stuff for his birthday. Looking for ideas.
We do Santa. We celebrate Hanukkah but do not do Hanukkah gifts.
I'm done buying for DS (I think). He will be 29 months at Christmas. His main gift is the Thomas the Train coaster. Balance bike (we're wrapping up his sister's old one) Lightning McQueen thing that talks and sings Mickey Mouse Slippers A few Paw Patrol cars If grandparents ask, I"m asking them to get him the Paw Patroller vehicle thing. I have no clue what else to tell them to get him.
For DD who is 5. I have no clue what to get for her big gift. I was going to get a Wellie Wisher but my mom is getting her one and a few outfits for it. My Little Pony onesie pajama thing with MLP socks A few Paw Patrol cars I'll get some art stuff eventually My husband always gets her a Lego set for Christmas, and I think he's getting her the Elsa castle set

My daughter (turning 3 in Feb.) will be getting books, puzzles, a personalized Paw Patrol ornament, a Paw Patrol sticker book, Magformers and other magnetic tiles, Christmas PJs (but I give them Dec. 1st), and a Paw Patrol t-shirt. For her stocking so far I have Paw Patrol stickers, Paw Patrol tooth brush (sense a theme here? lol), fuzzy socks, crayons and a coloring book.
My mom is planning on getting her a table/chairs set.
ETA: H wants to do Santa, so we will. No clue what the Santa present will be, but I want to keep it to one present plus her stocking.
hbomdiggity what is that thing called? J would go NUTS over that.
So far I have: Melissa & Doug broom/mop set (this kid loves to clean) Little Tikes trampoline Play food for kitchen Books Maybe that Thomas thing hbomdiggity posted! Something Daniel Tiger...I saw a colorform thing he might like
I also want to get him a gift from the baby for the next month. I have wanted an AG doll all my life and never got one, so I am thinking of living vicariously through him and getting him the Logan doll or the boy bitty baby, since he's having a brother. I know it's a total waste of money...but it's more for me!

DD will be 2.5. We're doing a play kitchen, and probably a scooter and a play tent. Between her grandparents and aunt, she'll have a million other things too I'm sure.
DD is 5, birthday in January. These will be spread out over both Christmas and birthday.
So far I have: Superhero High school (from Santa) 12" Wonder Woman and Batgirl dolls to go with her already owned 6" set (will see which she likes to play with more and add more 12" ones if she likes them more) Set of 6 superhero lego figurines Basket and tassels for her big girl bike Spirograph 5 minute superhero stories book
Still going to buy: 6 months of Kiwi Crate Legos (not sure if I'll do sets or a big crate of them) Art stuff (markers, crayons, colored pencils, stickers) Chopsticks
She'll be getting more Magnatiles and expansion sets from my sister and some books from my mom.
I have my eye on an eco-friendly Starter Toys set with stacking cups, keys, and a pull elephant. I might be able to get it locally at Whole Foods, otherwise I'd have to order it.
We have the stacking cups in that set, and they're great. And dd still plays with them at nearly 2 and a half, so there's that.
kdubs923 I would very much like a dinosaur taco holder for myself lol
Right? I wish it was a Dragon, because he loves the Dragons Love Tacos books... but a dinosaur is fun too. I figure it will take up room in a stocking.
DS turns 3 right after Thanksgiving. For his birthday he is getting a M&D Countdown to Christmas Calendar, M&D activity cones, and books. Santa is going to special deliver an Elf on the Shelf.
Other bday/Christmas stuff we have on his Amazon wishlist for us or grandparents to get: M&D mailbox Toy mail truck Puzzles Spot It Jr game Busytown board game Water Wow books Gardening tools
Last year for birthday/Christmas we went all out with Magnatiles, a huge Thomas train set, and a ton of Duplos, a balance bike, and a trike (some things were from grandparents), which were all HUGE hits. Plus he got a bunch of other smaller gifts. This year I'm trying to keep it smaller.

DS (5):
Already purchased: Wizard wand and tower from toys r us Robotic snake Hatchimals surprise
Asked for: Kindle fire Teen titans go stuff Paw patrol jet Puppy dog pals house Robotic puppy
For DDs (will be 4 months) I will be doing just enough so that DS doesn't question why santa didn't bring them anything, so maybe one toy under the tree each and one for the fire department santa to bring. I told everyone else who asked for a list they want formula, diapers or wipes. Really though, what do 4 month olds usually get for Christmas?
