Today: really hoping for disneyland. L was up a lot and he's snotty and coughing so we will see.
Tuesday: pumpkin patch if it doesn't rain. Trick or treating with C once we put L to bed.
Wednesday: DH's birthday...boys and I will bake him a cake and make him one of his favorite meals for when he gets home.
Thursday: flu shot appointment for L
Friday: catching up on chores, maybe the park, getting ready for ILs visit on Sunday
Saturday: DH will do something he wants to do, likely play golf or go look at the mountain bike he will be buying for his birthday
Sunday: church and then ILs coming to celebrate DH's birthday
Super busy week, especially since we were busy last week (behind on chores) and this past weekend. Hoping the boys aren't both getting sick again and we can have a fun week!
Today is laundry day. I did stop and get French toast sticks from Burger King so that is making it better.
Tuesday I work. We may hand out candy at the ambulance bay as long as we can have someone stay if we go on a call.
Normal days Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday is a busy day. H and I are going to go get pedicures in the morning. H is more excited then me lol. I have a bunch of stores I need to go to also so I’m dragging H along. Friday evening we have a wedding to go to. We have a fun group of friends also going so we are going to be the rowdy table, we usually are at every event we go to together.
M - music class T - DH is going to get off work early so we can all trick or treat together. We hit up trunk or treats at local churches so we will start early and hopefully not be out too late.
@ I'm thinking Wednesday I'll really start potty training G. I have been lazy and really don't want to but she is ready I need to just put the time in.
Other then that I need to work on stuff for C's birthday. It's just a couple weeks away and I haven't started.
We need to make a decision about our kitchen cabinets by Friday. Lowe's has some really great deals going on right now, but they end on Friday so we have a bit of a time crunch to figure out whether we're ready to move forward now or wait/price out a few other places.
Friday is the last day of deer season, so H and I will be out in the woods again for one last shot at filling our tags. H will probably go out earlier in the week, too, but I won't have time until Friday because of my work schedule. We saw an absolutely gorgeous 3-point while we were out yesterday, but we didn't end up being able to track it down.
Friday afternoon is my hair appointment for a cut and color. I'm super excited, but also really nervous. Not only am I stepping outside of my comfort zone with the color I'm getting, but I'm also having it done by someone new at a different salon than I normally go to.
Saturday, I was invited to a friend's birthday party. I really want to go, but I'm undecided on if I will because it's over an hour away and H is working all weekend so he won't be able to go with me. I guess I'm just going to wait and see how I feel.
Sunday, I'm having a few friends over because I won some sort of spa/pampering party as part of a silent auction basket at a fundraiser a few weeks ago.

((Hugs)) suzv. L has a couple (maybe more) molars coming in too. His sleep has been horrible between that and being sick the last 1.5 weeks. We were at my parents this weekend and he never sleeps well there.
L has a decent cough but seems ok otherwise so I will take the chance and take them after his AM nap. They both slept in pretty late so between that and an early bedtime hopefully it won't be too much (only staying a max 4 hours anyways and we can always stay less if they aren't feeling it...I have been promising C to take him to see Mickey for a few weeks now and I want to see the Mickey pumpkin on Main Street and hopefully get a family photo. My dad cleans the hotel lobby rug and he knows that the Christmas tree is going up next week so I know our days are limited.
Good news...dinner is in the crockpot and we vacuumed downstairs! Just need to clean bathrooms, vacuum upstairs, dust, and grocery shop and we will be in good shape. Maybe a load of laundry too. Probably do most of this tomorrow and Wednesday.
This weekend, my parents will come up to watch the kids while I'm at a hair appointment.
Trying to figure out what to do about work. I am there early before my boss 99% of the time. I'm usually one of the three people om the office that early. The earliest daycare will accept children is 6:00 a.m. That's fine considering that for YEARS, I'm still early for work.
I use Waze to help me with traffic. Normally, I can get both kids in daycare at 6:00 and get back to my car between 6:03-6:05. Waze normally tells me I'm set to arrive 12-10 minutes early at work. However, traffic has gotten CONSIDERABLY worse getting downtown from where we live. There are more and more wrecks on this particular interstate. Initially, I'll get in the car for Waze to tell me I'm going to be there 10 minutes early. Withing a few minutes, it changes to 6:55/7:00. I look ahead and there are wrecks reported. Even with Waze redirecting me, I still get caught in the backup. Without fail, the ONE morning I get stuck behind wreck traffic, my boss gets there before I do. I have texted her to let her know I'm stuck behind a wreck. She never responds. (She usually texts me when she's running behind...hence the practice.) When I get to the office, she's cold with me too....this morning, I got here at 7:05 due to wrecks. (HR policies don't consider a non-patient care employee to be late when you arrive more than 15 minutes late.). She's not looking at me when I talk to her and barely answering my questions. I seriously don't know what to do when this happens. More and more corporate offices opened up downtown...and people are driving recklessly. Normally, I'd advise someone in my shoes to leave the house earlier. But I literally can't take the kids any earlier than 6:00 a.m. on the dot. I seriously, don't know what to do. I know the obvious answer is to find employment closer to home. There are things I'm implementing to try and make start that process in the coming months. But I don't know what to do in the meantime to stop pissing off my boss
MrsMB - Have you had a conversation with her about it? If I were in your situation, I think that's where I would start. Not asking her why she's being weird about it, but explaining the issue you're having to her and asking if she has any preferences on how to handle mornings when traffic/accidents cause you to be unable to arrive on time. That might help stress the fact that traffic is outside of your control and you're doing everything you possibly can to be as reliable as possible. If you give her the power to tell you (or re-tell you, as the case may be) how she wants to be notified, that may help her get over whatever is causing her to act so weird about it.

We have already. BUT I agree it's worth revisiting because of the way she treats me the whole day after. I'll mention it again at our next one-on-one.
The last time, she was pissed at me and called me in to meet with her privately about the whole thing before H was born. I mean, it's so rare too...that is what sucks. But it ALWAYS happens the one morning she's here early. Her argument is that she has to get on the same interstate. BUT she lives only 25 minutes away compared to my 50 minutes. Anything on this interstate is much more backed up when I get to it. She's not married, doesn't have kids, etc. So, she can easily modify her schedule by getting in the car earlier to get here despite accidents.

Appointment today, hopefully my BP is down/stable
Tomorrow probably going to a Halloween event (instead of TOTing around the neighborhood)
H is hunting this weekend so depending on the weather, possibly going to my parents. A friend is having a LLR party at her new house on Sun so hopefully I'll make it to that!
Working again tonight. Trunk or Treat Tuesday. Working on a paper Wednesday. Sleeping/ working Thursday. Friday begins potty training, eek! I really don't want to either, bk1, but he's ready.
estrellita- yay for lower BP! Prayers it stays that way the rest of your pregnancy!!
I ended up taking the boys to disneyland! So much fun! Unfortunately L went downhill towards the end (we only stayed 3.5 hours total, including walking to and from downtown disney) and is now wheezing. Talked to his doctor when we got home and started nebulizer treatments. He thinks it's not RSV and that L is officially asthmatic and will need breathing treatments whenever he gets sick 🙁

Thanks luv2rn4fun! Hope L feels better soon, poor kid!
GL with PTing bk1 and pooh8402! I was surprised at how much easier it was than I thought it would be (although #2 is still a struggle and he's had a couple recent accidents after not having any for a long time). Hope they catch on quick!

Thank you estrellita! He has been sick for 1.5 weeks now but the end of Disneyland was so much worse than it has been. He had been avoiding any breathing problems so I thought we were ok to go (and he did great until the end when he was just tired and ready to go home). I feel bad but am also glad we went. We all needed to have a fun day and I had been promising to take C for awhile. Just wish L hasn't gotten so much worse...i guess it's good to know and be prepared that this is going to be a regular part of sickness with him and just be proactive and give him the treatments as soon as it starts.
Grrr.. I made a shirt last night and the puffy paint was supposed to dry in 4 hours. It's still wet! I have a fan on it right now hoping it'll be dry enough to wear.. this also after needing to fix the smear from a certain 2 year old.. blah. I knew I should have done this earlier
luv2rn4fun, I liked for the tag. I'm sorry he's not feeling well. I hope it's not asthma!
Thank you! Me too...unfortunately I think his doctor is right and it has been something I have been preparing for after all his horrible respiratory illnesses last year. I had exercise induced asthma starting in high school and it always flares up when I get a bad cold. He also has eczema and allergies...the three al go hand in hand 🙁 I nursed him at 4:30 and he was having trouble breathing while nursing. He was fine when I held him but a little grunting when nursing. Doing a breathing treatment as soon as he wakes up and will stay on top of them today.
I just realized that I'm officially two weeks away from my vacaaaaaaaation.
I'm taking 12 days off for my birthday and Thanksgiving. I don't really have any plans yet, but I'm just looking forward to being able to turn my brain off for almost two weeks.

One more day before vacation starts!
I need to find a dress to wear to the wedding we are going to Friday night. All my dresses are too summery. Guess I’ll be going dress shopping on top of all the errands I have to do. Hopefully I can find something at either Old Navy or Kohl’s at a cheap price.
Ok I'm officially sick. I had a sore throat yesterday. But today started the sniffles and sneezing. And my temp is going up, currently 99.8.
I have zero desire to work tomorrow night and zero desire to work on my paper tonight (that's due Sunday). I kinda hope my temp goes up a little more so I don't feel guilty about calling in sick (which I'm about 85% sure I'm going to do anyway).
This week is busy. Tuesday was Hallowe'en party for DD & baby group Wednesday was Bible study & yoga. Today is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!!! Tomorrow is Storytime, FaceTime with KatieK, & more cleaning Saturday I want to do some things with my family but may be more cleaning because: Sunday: MIL & step-FIL are here!
Lots of cleaning & laundry needs to be done to catch up for getting so little done in the first half of the week.
Decided not to go to my parents this weekend. Didn't want to drive in the snow/rain we're supposed to get all weekend! H will have fun hunting in that, haha. Also decided to send E to ILs tomorrow night until Sat evening so I can get some things done. I'm excited to have the house to myself for a bit! Hopefully I'll be able to check a few things off my list!
I was supposed to have two of those magical days off with the kid in daycare yesterday and today. Yesterday I got called with a work emergency that took up four hours of the eight, and then last night DS had a fever and was throwing up so he's home with me today. I am clearly not meant to have a clean house, study for my certification exam, or catch up on TV'
We are just getting over being sick. I still have a bad cough but the girls seem to be doing better.
((Hugs)). Hope you feel 100% soon!! One or both of the boys have been sick for 2.5 weeks now. It is the worst. C still has a little cough and congestion but seems ok. L still has a chesty cough but is mostly happy at least for being sick. His sleep has been bad though, naps are a fight and he wakes more at night 🙁
