I have kind of started. I bought gift cards for the kids on DH's extra family's side back in August. I've also bought some of our nieces gifts. That's it though. I'm not happy with my progress since I wanted to be mostly done by this point since we also have DS's birthday to buy for.

rere I second WBU. We have a physical store by us and their customer service is great. I have a bird feeder from WBU and they have replaced (for free!) the plastic gadgets that go on the perches since squirrels eat through mine every year. They are not the cheapest for birdseed (I got to a local garden store), but if I need something special that is where I go. The people who work there are generally birders and are very knowledgeable.
I have one gift on order for my Mom because I picked it up through a fundraiser in my hometown. Other than that I have nothing. We do secret santa for the adults on my side of the family and I usually set that up closer to Thanksgiving. I have to start writing lists for DS1-3 to give to family and as usual, I am at a loss.
We need a new tv so I am thinking that will be the gift for DH and I. Any recommendations on flatscreens? The room is fairly small, but I want to mount it on the wall to get stuff off the floor. We've needed a new tv for sometime (ours is a 20-year old tube tv and the power button has sunk into the casing), but I am so overwhelmed by choices that I have not gotten one.
I have bought some little things throughout the year and have a list of some ideas. My main challenge is that all the family is cross country, so I'm always conflicted between buying everything, wrapping it and paying lots of money to ship it, or trying to ship things directly, but then I don't want to do it too far in advance.

greenmonkey1, we recently bought a new tv from Costco. They have a smaller selection than Wal-Mart or Best Buy, but the price is good. We bought an LG 4K. Curved screens are popular, but a couple coworkers bought curved tv's and didn't like them.

I'm thinking about getting a digital picture frame for my mom. One that is WiFi compatible that my SIL and I can just email pictures to. I can't remember if it was here or TCF parenting that recommended one.
I have a majority of the ideas of what I’m getting people spelled out now it’s just time to watch for sales to get it all since we’re on a tight budget this year.
I have not started shopping yet. DH is building a train table for the boys; he has the wood but hasn’t started building. Other than that, we will probably just give the boys pjs, an ornament, and a book.
There’s just small stuff on our kids list for other people: winter clothes/pjs, art supplies, books.
I always make a calendar with kids pictures for the grandparents. Our parents are usually pretty easy to shop for. DH usually has something he wants that he gives non-subtle hints.
I won’t start most shopping until after Thanksgiving.
I started today! Checked off MIL and nephew. I bought half of Dds on Amazon and did not spend a dime! I had $175 in Amazon cards from my wellness rewards. She got a vanity and new bedding. She wants a room make over. I just need a makeup mirror, the monogram raincoat and probably a few clothes for her. Going on an overnight trip next week and should knock it out.
Help me shop for matching kids pjs. My sister had a baby and we want to do matching/coordinated pjs for all the kids this Christmas, but I'm having trouble finding what I'm looking for across different sizes/styles.
Need something that works for boys and girls. 3M, 2T, and 4T. Looking for footed pajamas for the two youngest, and two piece pjs for the oldest. Would prefer fleece or thermal as opposed to light weight.
I can find footed pjs or I can find matching one-piece and two-piece pjs, but not both at the same time.
I’m almost done. I create private amazon registry lists for the kids in the spring and slowly buy stuff so we can spread out holiday spending. DH is the hardest person to shop for. I told him that we should do a trip or even just a weekend away instead of gifts.
saraml13 , try www.patpat.com I haven't actually ordered anything from there so I can't speak to the quality but they have a bunch of matching holiday pajama options in many sizes.
I have an extensive list drawn up for SO (he is always at the ready with multiple things he wants). Nothing purchased yet. I will be amazoning stuff to my sister's house (where we are all gathering) up til Christmas Eve, I'm sure. It's always that way.
For those who have a bunch of little kids to shop for, Dinkleboo has a great code on personalized story books! I just got 6 books for $80 and checked off all the kids on our list without buying toys that I know no one really wants. Use code NOV2FREE by midnight on the 13th. It's buy one, get two free!

I’m care anyone’s missed it, Target is having its 25% off one toy deal. Text TOY to TARGET. I’m using mine to order DD1 a robotic show pony right now for she has discovered toy commercials. She will get that and some kind of outdoor toy. DD2 is getting a scooter and probably some kind of small pretend play toy. Santa will get them a larger magnatile set to share and add to their collection of magnatikes of which they never seem to have enough.
Zero ideas for H. DD1 on the topic: Daddy likes us the best. So we should get him another kid. Or maybe a new video game. He likes to play then.
H when he heard that: those two things are WORLDS apart.
My 3.5 year old has asked for 1) a bag of money and 2) an umbrella. And that's it. This is after taking her through the Disney store and toys r us yesterday.
I am pretty much done shopping for my nephews. The 5 yo wants anything Ninjago (whatever that is, I just hit the Amazon buttons) and the 7 mo gets a Pooh bear onesie and some little toys and books.

I’m doing good but am getting to the hard ones now. I have to do 3 nephews, 1 niece, and my in laws. I have clothes and a couple of toys for both dss but need to find a good book for ds1. We are doing the want, wear, need and read for our boys and stocking stuffers.
DH bought DD a rock tumbler. He didn't hid it before I saw it and when I asked why he bought it he told me it was for DD. No idea why DD would use a rock tumbler and really think he bought it for himself but will give it to DD and then take it back when she doesn't use it. This was all after we ordered her a gymnastics mat and I said she was done and needs nothing else. When I reminded him of that he was like well I hadn't bought her anything yet. Yes you have you are making her a gymnastic bar! His response was that doesn't count. Argh
For those of you having a hard time figuring out gifts for the older kids/tweens/teens I've been doing advent calendar's for my collage age sister. Wrap something small for days 1-24 and a special thing for the 25th. Hair ties, socks, Lego pieces, candy, stickers/crafts etc. and I wrap them in TP tubes. My sister really enjoys it and can't wait to open the next day. Last year it was a food box so each day I gave her one more ingredient for cookies or a dinner (spaghetti). Only problem is you have to have it done and delivered before the 1st and I try to keep each day to $2 on average otherwise it can get expensive.
1. Small Anna and Elsa figurines 2. Toy santa 3. A big water cup 4. Crayons 5. Calendar 6. A pencil.
I kind of love her list. She also knows she may or may not get all of the times from her list, since it's just a guideline. Santa does not do big gifts.
My nephews like cash. It's a boring gift, but it's always the right color.

I've been checking Amazon about once a week for prices on Spirographs (my two nieces each want one), and they happened to go from $22.50 (the last price I saw) to $17.50 today. So those are ordered and done.
I have no idea at this point what I'm going to do about my kids. They both made a long list of expensive items, and I haven't been able to find a few of the things DD wants because they are out of stock online. I'm feeling a little concerned, because I won't be able to go to any stores on Black Friday because we'll be out of town and even if I could go, I'd worry the kids would see what I bought (because they still believe in Santa). A friend is willing to do some shopping for me, so hopefully she'll be able to find at least a few things for me on their lists.

Does anyone have any experience with Kiwi Crates? I'm thinking about giving them to my technology addicted nieces and one nephew for Christmas. Girls are 8 and 11 and both enjoy art so they would like that one. Thinking about the Tinker one for the nephew unless someone thinks that's a really lame gift for a 14 year old. He isn't very social, doesn't play any sports and I think he enjoyed the 4H projects he did a couple years ago when he was involved.

k3am, if you want to spice up the cash gift a little bit, there are money mazes you can buy on amazon. I hate just giving cash or gift cards to my nephews without something more, so I got the mazes for gift cards one year and it was kind of fun for them. They were $10, so more than I preferred to pay but by the time you buy cards or something you're almost there anyways.
You guys my oldest is killing me. This is the first year she has been forthcoming with ideas but every item is $80+. Is there any way to set alerts for Lululemon leggings, an Enos hammock, fluffy TNF or a Nike black and white color block windbreaker? I need to find some deals....
