Nope. I have done nothing. DD wants a Nike windbreaker and I said great what else...then I searched it and it is a $100 jacket so....
DS will get Imaginext something and LEGO something else.
DH wants a Surface 3 or the new one so if anyone sees deals let me know!
I am more focused on planning my 40th - apps and drinks at a club (which one TBD - the one I want only does one check for parties and our friends can drink so ... not looking for a 4K bar tab).
I have not. I usually start after Halloween, so right around now. I am quasi contemplating a no spend month, so gifts will likely be what I can find with my existing gift cards. Or a strict budget because I buy for 20+ people.
On DD's list is a shopkins watch and a fuzzy robe. All she has is a terry cloth robe, and she wants a fuzzy one like her brother. Boots are also on the list. Her brother got a Pokemon watch so that is why she wants a watch too. She could probably get some clothes just so she has something new, but she is mostly set with clothing, coat, snowpants and toys. I think my mom was picking up her first barbie for her. I am not a Barbie fan, so I never got her one before.
I've got most of my shopping done for everyone I buy for. I try to shop year round so I don't have all the extra spending at the end of the year.
Only thing I'm looking for is a laptop to replace our 10 year old desktop but will wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday and order it from Newegg or TigerDirect.
Oh and I need to shop for DH who is the hardest to buy for.

I have had the kids go through the toy catalogs as we receive them to identify things they like. I usually shop the Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales for most gifts. DS has asked for Madden 2018, so that is one thing we'll get him. I'll have to shop the online sales this year because we'll be at SIL's house.
SIL wants to celebrate Christmas when we are at their house for Thanksgiving, so I need to get lists to her, and also get a list of ideas for her kids.
I forgot that Santa is bringing fish. I am so glad I figured that out this summer and left myself a note in my phone!! Does anyone else do this?? I feel a little like a crazy person but hey, it worked!

I have not started. But our's should be easy. DH and I don't do presents for each other and we give gift certs to nice restaurants to both sets of grandparents. We bought this giant Lego set last year post-Christmas so we'll give that to DS. Have absolutely no idea what to get for DD (2.5). Everyone keeps asking me and embarrassingly, I have no idea what she likes! She usually just plays with DS's toys, or whatever is around the house.
Not at all. The plan this year is to go on vacation to Cancun the first week of January with the kids. So we'll use that as a gift to ourselves. From us, the kids will get stuff they need from the trip (suit case, swim suit, toys for the plane etc). From Santa they are getting a trampoline (big one for the yard now that we have space). We usually do secret santa with my family but this year only my sister and mom are around (brother is deployed). We'll probably get them both a little something. Teachers, DCP etc will get a gift card.
I hope to start Saturday. I have around $200 in Amazon cards from my wellness program. I plan on ordering the lighted vanity that Dd wants from that. She then has a new pink bedspread and rain jacket on her list. Other than a few clothes, she'll be easy.
Dh is in charge of ds since it will be hunting related. Probably some clothes since he likes the name brand stuff for school. He requested a couple of xbox games. Dh says he wants new hunting clothes, which cost more than a designer dress for some reason. I'll let him pick it out then order. He's impossible to shop for.
Then we just have the draw a name gifts, teachers and parents. Mil wants a birdhouse or glass bird window thing? Wth am I going to find that in November. Back to Amazon. Mom always wants a gift card.
Nope....typically I do it all on Black Friday. But this year I am heading to Brazil for work on the Saturday after thanksgiving......so maybe I should get on this. Also, DD's birthday is on New Year's eve, so I usually buy her birthday gift as part of Christmas shopping. The only thing that we have done is for DH's family, we are all going to the Khalari (it's like Great Wolf with an indoor waterpark) on Christmas and staying the night. We just got a giant room for everyone (there will 12 of us), and that is our gift to everyone. They might get some cookies too or something. For teachers, our church sells giftcards to popular places, so I will have to get on that. My parents, we usually get them a year of Netflix, which is a gift they like. Which leaves the kids and DH. DH and I just do stockings for each other (with a $25 ish limit), so that won't be too bad. I feel slightly better after writing this all out....
I started. My SILVand DH are done. I ordered a few Santa gifts from Zulily last night, and picked up a few from the clearance table at Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago. I got my mom and my sisters each an ornament filled with sand from different beaches of significance for each of them. It could go over well or be seen as really hokey.
My nieces and nephews are all at an age where they really want cash to spend during winter break. So that's easy.
I feel like I'm like in in decent shape this year. I say that every year, get cocky, and then start scrambling in mid-December to get it all done.
I have no idea what to get for my kids. As in every year, I feel like we're drowning in their stuff already.
I feel this way too (bolded sentence). We do make the kids go through toys and get rid of some before Christmas each year to make some room for new things. Too bad the water leak we had in our toy room a few weeks ago didn't help us out with this task.

Oh and DH is done. He bought himself new wheels and tires for his pickup, so that takes care of his birthday (which is this month) and Christmas (and then some, given that altogether it was around $1600, although he's supposed to sell the old wheels and tires for around $500).
I'm a big Black Friday shopper. I started my spreadsheet and jotted down some ideas and budget limits, but haven't really purchased anything. We do have the big gift for the girls - a massive, handcrafted dollhouse that someone gifted to us! So we're telling family to get them dollhouse accessories, which makes it easy. Santa lists were totally random last year, so hopefully this year it's a bit easier. For example, DD2 requested xrays last year. Thanks Amazon - you really do have everything! haha

Santazilla here. I have detailed lists and started buying. Ideally I would like all of my kids' gifts accounted for before Thanksgiving and then I can focus on extended family after that.

Add me to the list of not started and we have too much stuff. DH signed DS up for a STEM you of the month club, but he won't do any if the stuff with DS. I've done some, but we have unopened toys from that. Plus DH buys for DS throughout the year and gives it to him. So I really don't even want to buy for DS. The last few years, the gifts I thought were thoughtful and useful for DH ended up in a closet, so he is getting gift cards. My parents are the only other ones, and I have no clue.
No. Both of my kids have birthdays in the next month so I'm trying to get that figured out first. I'm pretty sure DD1 is getting a new bike and DD2 is getting a new scooter.
Does anyone have a Karaoke machine? Is it annoying? I am thinking of getting one for the girls from Santa. They sing and dance all the time and I think they would love it. I'm just not sure we (my husband and I) will love it as much.
Other than the girls (who don't get much from us) I only have DH (he's hard to shop for) and a gift for an exchange with my family. I don't know the dollar amount for the gift exchange yet so I don't even know where to start looking.
I have strategically phased out giving to adults except for a sibling secret Santa with the in laws. We exchange names around thanksgiving. I used to not give to DH either but then he started back up again...he is good with clothes though... I buy 90% of my kids stuff from Amazon and I will probably do that around thanksgiving. I did start buying small items for nieces and nephews. Triggered buy the idea when I saw the item, not specifically looking to shop early.
