2chatter, check out REI "garage" for the Eno Hammock. They have a 20% 1 item starting the 20th. If she hasn't specified colors you may get it for about $40.
The Nike windbreaker and fluffy TNF I would try to use Kohls Cash or coupons to lower the price.
Does anyone have any experience with Kiwi Crates? I'm thinking about giving them to my technology addicted nieces and one nephew for Christmas. Girls are 8 and 11 and both enjoy art so they would like that one. Thinking about the Tinker one for the nephew unless someone thinks that's a really lame gift for a 14 year old. He isn't very social, doesn't play any sports and I think he enjoyed the 4H projects he did a couple years ago when he was involved.
I did a subscription for Kiwi Crates for my daughter for a year when she was 6. She loved them and I thought they were really cool. If the kids like to do crafts and put things together, they are great!
Does anyone have a good idea for an 8 month old? I'm totally drawing a blank on what would have been a great gift for a not quite one year old. It's for my niece, and I know they don't really need any baby gear, because we handed all ours down to them, so they've got 2x more than they need.
I already got her a personalized book, figured I'd pick up some cute clothes on Black Friday. But I want something else kind of fun or special to go with it since she's my one and only!
Where do you guys hide stuff? DS is onto our usual spot (my craftroom closet), and we don't have much other closet space that isn't packed full. The fact that he's so little so his gifts are mostly bulky things is not helping. Playstation games and movies would be so much easier to hide, lol.
sudokufan - I try to wrap as I go. Large and Santa items are at the neighbor’s. Of course the kids saw their gifts one year but they played it off as for their grand kids.

Personalized ornament? Piggy bank? Rocking horse? Wooden name puzzle?

I ship any Christmas gifts to my parents. If I couldn't store something with my parents the gift would be stored at my neighbors.
I started after Christmas last year only because I found a good deal. I got DS a power wheels car on clearance after Christmas last year. I've picked up other things from consignment sales throughout the year so he is set. DH wants a video game, and the Samsung smart watch. I found the game he wants on sale for black Friday so I will definitely get that. Not sure on the watch because it's so expensive and I haven't been able to find a deal on it yet. I also plan to get him a new pillow since his needs replaced. Everyone else on our list we have picked up something throughout the year for so we should be done.
sudokufan can you or your H take them to work? Do you have a garage where you can hide them? Under or behind your bed or dresser?
Hmm, I can't take them to work but maybe H can - he has an office. And I can probably put a few of the smaller things IN my dresser. Sadly our garage has a squirrel problem, so that's out.
This gets so much harder as DS gets smarter! My craft closet was such a perfect hiding place for the first 3 years :-) Although, typing that made me think I can take one of the bins of fabric out and hide presents in the bin - I just have to find a place to put the fabric!

Damn squirrels. If you end up spreading them out over several places, I recommend keeping a list of what you have and where you have it so you don't forget. I've done this before lol.
I always say every year that I am going to start early and I never do. I do, however, know what I am getting the girls and that is always half the battle. Teenagers are hard and expensive to buy for.
We draw names with my family and somehow I have lost the names. I bet I put them somewhere for safe keeping instead of on my dresser and now I cannot find them. I am going to have to call everyone in my family to figure it out. This sucks.
Just scored a Patagonia better sweater for $68 at REI - DD will be thrilled. Inlaws ended up getting her the hammock, so she’s turning out to be easy.
Thinking of getting the ten year old Alexa. We are getting a family subscription to YouTube Red - can I put parental controls on that or on Alexa? She will ask it for jokes, riddles, music and trivia and I would like allllll of that to be clean.
