DH has been working 6 days a week for over 2 months now. They are suppose to finish construction by Wednesday so the plan is at least Thursday and Friday off, I'm hoping that means he will actually get a 4 day weekend. Omg I'm beyond excited at the idea of 4 whole days of him home.
Wednesday - We'll go to my mom's and help her make pies Thursday - early lunch at my mom's (to accommodate my gma and brother's schedules) Saturday - all day at in-laws
Have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow. I miss my old Chiropractor. He was hot and we got to talk football. sigh...
Other than that, I plan to get a spray tan before Thanksgiving. We'll head down to God's country the morning of (since it's just a three hour drive). We will drive back Saturday night.
We put up our Christmas tree last night. DH is obsessed with Christmas. But with our two littles, BOTH of our full-time jobs, and his grad school....he decided (thank goodness!) for us to just put up a tree, wreath, and stockings for the kids. We'll go all out next year.
WE FINALLY GOT A DINING ROOM TABLE! OMG! People didn't believe me when I said DH just wanted bar-stools in our kitchen because he liked the open space. Finally 1.5 years ago, he decided he'd be OK with us finally getting a table in there. THEN we couldn't find one that we liked. So freaking excited. I forgot to get pictures of it though. I'll try to post when it comes in.
My step mom is having hip replacement surgery today. I will try to help if they need me to.
Spending thanksgiving mostly at home and then going to my dads after naps for dinner.
Mostly resting this week as the boys are both sick again 🙁. So tired from them being up all night.
Small chance we end up going to the ILs for the weekend (F-Sun). DH wants to buy his bike on Black Friday so that might keep us home (and the long drive and no one sleeping, especially now that they are sick again).

C had me awake at 430 am for an hour so my goal is to survive today with her.
Wednesday the dog has a checkup. I need yo make cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving.
Thursday we're going to my parents for Thanksgiving. Saturday we're having Thanksgiving with H's family. And sometime between Friday and Sunday I want to get our Christmas decorations up.
I’m currently running errands. I need to do some prep for thanksgiving today.
I work my normal schedule. Wednesday is my birthday.
I’m working thanksgiving with my boss. We are making a thanksgiving feast. His family is coming and DH and my mom are too. His wife and my DH will take over food prep if we have a job. We also opened it to any members or employees that want to come by for dinner.
Friday I’m decorating for Christmas! I hung up the outside lights yesterday but still need to put out the blow up decorations, including monster Christmas Minion! He’s taller then our front porch lol.

So sorry! G was up at 4 and it took 3 trips in there and about an hour to get her settled back down. I feel ya!

Ugh that stinks! C was actually in my bed last night but woke up and had to use the potty. But then thought it was time to have a rousing conversation afterwards lol

Random errands/work stuff/things to do around the house the next few days. DS has a doctor's appt tomorrow and we leave Wed afternoon to go to my parents' house, we'll be back on Saturday. Looking forward to hopefully relaxing a few days this week! (And eating good food, of course)

((Hugs)) suzv. Loss anniversaries are hard. Our first loss due date was last month and it was also right at the 6 month anniversary of my mom’s passing. It was much harder this year than previous years. I also wouldn’t change a thing though.
bk1suzvchristy082- ((Hugs)) mamas. I am right there with you. L is sick and basically up all night the past two nights. Such a zombie today and no patience for toddler shenanigans. Thankfully C has been mostly good so far. He also doesn’t feel well so balancing them can be a challenge.
I have decided that I am going to treat myself to a Starbucks today. Hoping that helps me get through the afternoon.
I'm on vacaaaaation all week, so my schedule is pretty empty (which is just the way I like it!).
Today - My brother is supposed to call me at some point. He sent me a text on my birthday saying that he wouldn't have time until today, and I'm really excited to spend some time talking to him.
Tuesday - Taking Gus to the vet for vaccines. I always feel so guilty because he hates car rides. At least when Bowser goes to the vet, he gets to enjoy that part of the experience. For poor Gus, it's miserable from the moment we leave the house. lol.
Wednesday - Cleaning the house in preparation for Thursday.
Thursday - My mom and I are going to a morning yoga class together, and then we're going to hang out at my house all day. No plans for a big dinner or anything. She wants to make some deviled eggs and we'll probably put some BBQ chicken in the Instant Pot or something. H is working a 12 hour shift, so it will just be her and I all day. I'm really looking forward it.
Friday - H is working another 12 hour shift, so I'll probably be doing some Black Friday shopping online. I'm hoping there might be sales on some of the stuff we still need to buy for the kitchen remodel. I'm not planning to go anywhere to do any in-person shopping.
Saturday/Sunday - No plans yet. Neither of us have thought that far ahead yet. lol.
Lots going on this week! I'm technically off Wed but I'm making up a couple hours since I'm leaving early today. We'll head down to my parents Wed night and spend Thanksgiving at my cousin's. H has to work overnight but he has Fri off (I don't). I work Sat.

Appointment today, ultrasound and chiropractor Wed. I mentioned on GP and MMM that baby is likely breech, so the u/s is to confirm. We'll see at my appointment today too if my doctor thinks differently but everything feels the same for me. Chiro on Wed is an attempt to flip baby, or at the very least, relieve some pain! I'll probably ask today when we'd be scheduling a c-section but I'm really really hoping it won't be needed!

estrellita- I hope baby girl is head down and this is all unnecessary stress for you. BUT, if it’s not and you do end up with a c/s I promise you that it will be ok. DH was off for less than two weeks. From the time I came home I was doing C’s bath, nap, bedtime (carrying him, bending over the tub, putting him in his crib etc). We kept things normal for him and I wanted that time with him. Also, I took L to his first appointment by myself and then took the two of us to an appointment for me (I had to come home with a catheter, which was horrible but not common and unlikely you will have this complication). I have had two c/s and I didn’t find recovery to be all that bad...DH didn’t even spend all that much time at the hospital (4 hours/day and never overnight even though L was born at 7:09pm) and we managed ok...actually better than when he was there after C was born.
All that to say...you will get through it and be fine! Many moms of toddlers have c/s and it ends up being better than you anticipate (I was nervous too and had the same concerns caring for C and L and really wanted a VBAC).

Thank you luv2rn4fun! So doctor now thinks baby might be head down, just really high up still. I'll have the u/s Wed to check still since she doesn't seem 100% sure. So it's good news, but my blood pressure was up again so they drew blood again to check protein levels. I'd much rather be induced than have a c section though. I'm just ready to be done and want things to go smoothly!

I am spending the night in the hospital with L. He woke up from nap with super fast breathing and wheezing. Saw his doctor who sent us here. He thinks it’s asthma again but his breathing and O2 levels are pretty bad and we’re not responding to breathing treatment.
