1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #1 since May, Cycle 4, CD47, 10DPO
2. Any testing this week? Maybe Sunday, if AF hasn't shown up by then.
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? H and I made pumpkin bread last night, and it turned out awful. Apparently, I just happened to grab the one recipe that called for twice as much seasoning as most recipes do, and it was overwhelming. We made a double batch, too. Throwing it away seems so wasteful, but it really is inedible. lol.
4. What is your favorite kind of pie? I'm not usually a big pie person, but I loooooove Costco pumpkin pies.

1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #1, cycle 3, benched for finances
2. Any testing this week? Nope. I'm not charting or testing at all this month.
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? My wife is supposed to find out this week if she got the job she's been in the running for for months. I am so nervous. My meeting with HR about my insurance situation is in an hour. I am so nervous. I am also sick as a dog (bad cold or maybe flu?) but I'm at work because I was off last week on vacation and for the holiday and I really can't miss any more work. Plus my sister is getting married on Saturday. I can't be sick! She also let me know she's planning to go off birth control right after the wedding so now I can be the bad sister who dreads her pregnancy announcement.
4. What is your favorite kind of pie? I like apple and cherry. All pie is fine by me, though.
2. Negative this morning. Hoping it’s too early but also very aware that I’m probably just not pregnant.
3. End of the month marks 9 more months until our lease is up and we are out of here for good. Part of me will be sad, but I’m mostly excited for this next chapter.
4. Strawberry Rhubarb with peach. All the way.
seeyalater52 fingers crossed for you and your wife!

You guys. They're going to pay my premiums! Or at least some of them, up to the benefit amount they offer, which is within $100 of the cost of premiums depending on the plan. I still have to do the math all out.
My wife really needs to get this new job because she doesn't have access to insurance right now and she's on my plan. I can't un-enroll from my employer plan until she has different coverage and the family options in the marketplace are way prohibitively expensive.
Yay!! That’s exciting seeyalater52! Have you priced out family marketplace plans?
The increase in both premiums and OOP max for a family plan means we’d pay about the same as staying in our very good employer based plan and their stupid 12 IUI rule, so we wouldn’t change if that was the only option. It’s kind of a staggering amount of money actually, but of course we don’t qualify for any subsidies due to our income bracket.

TTC #2 since May? CD22 After telling myself I wouldn't get my hopes up for being one of the infertiles who suddenly conceives on their own with #2, I totally did get my hopes up. And now I am depressed about the thought of having to go through treatments again and having to wait til summer break to do the treatments due to not enough PTO to do it during the school year.
3. Random: I really like the Trader Joe’s fizzy simpler wines cans that come in a four pack. I decided over the weekend that I will likely drink all the wine and eat all the gooey cheese that I can over the next couple weeks.
4. My favorite kind of pie is pecan pie or chocolate pie - it’s a toss up, really. Oh, I also like chocolate pecan pie haha (the best of both worlds!) and lemon meringue pie.
I’m excited for you!! Medicated IUI with monitoring?
I don't really know what I'm doing!
They are looking at the follicles again on Friday, and then we will decide to do an IUI over the weekend or not. I don't think my insurance pays for any IUIs, but we switched plans, which does cover them. But it won't start until January. So we have to figure out if we want to do the added expense or just wait one month.
Logically, it seems that we should wait a month, because really what's a month in the grand scheme of all this nonsense? But then the other part of me just wants to do it.

They’re ultrasound monitoring you? Usually that’s the expensive part (at my clinic the ultrasounds are almost $600 a pop!) and the IUI itself is pretty cheap ($375) so is you’ve already spent the money on monitoring might as well spend a tiny bit more and do it. But monitoring also might be covered by your insurance (mine would be, but gay.) It’s a tough call! I’m glad your new insurance will kick in soon.
What’s your OOP for it Jalapeñomel? Any money left in your FSA (or is it HSA, I get them mixed up) for 2017?
I’m not sure. We don’t pay anything as long as we go to the right doctors, so this has never come up. We have no HSA/FSA, because we don’t have any expenses.
seeyalater52 I hope that they are paying for the US! We haven’t received a bill or any indication that we have to pay, but when I phoned, they said they do IF, but no IVF (I didn’t ask about IUIs). If the IUi is $375, I’d do it. But if it’s $1000, I may wait. I’ll have to investigate a little more tomorrow.
seeyalater52 im so so happy that you and your wife finally got some good news! Xfingers that part 2 comes together soon, do you think she’ll find out this wk?

2. Any testing this week? Nope.
3. Non-BFP AWs/vents/randoms? Haven't been charting at all this cycle, so not 100% if/when I ovulated, but felt some ovulation symptoms yesterday and the day before. Also, counting down the days until my follow-up ultrasound to look at this ovarian cyst again. Been having pain nearly every day for the last few weeks! Hoping to see what next steps my doctor recommends.

They said yesterday or today, but no word yet as of now. I’m going out of my mind waiting, I am not a patient person.
All signs are pointing toward AF starting up in the next few days. I'm not surprised, but it's still disappointing.
Is your temp still up? Fwiw, I had my usually cramping and even spotting this month. And my breasts usually get sore. It’s really hard to tell the difference.
