Has anyone started thinking about travel plans? When are people coming in? I'm going to need to get over some jet lag before marathon day... if the race is on Saturday, I may fly Wednesday. Who can I hang out with Wednesday night and carpool to the house with Thursday? I can bring balls.

If i come in wednesday then totally. But last time, for your reference, the rental car was like $35 for the whole weekend lol

I'm coming Thurs - Mon. Just as an FYI, we can't get in to the house until like 4 or something.

I'm thinking Thursday to Monday as well, but will know as it gets closer. I'll be driving in since I'll only be a few hours away by then

My plan depends on whether I fly Delta or SW. If SW, I'll be there Th-Mon, if Delta, it'll be Friday AM-Mon. But I won't know until SW releases their schedule/prices for those dates.

I'll be flying into Charleston early on Thursday morning and leaving Monday morning. I don't have flights booked yet because SW air doesn't go that far our for dates yet. 

Im doing Thursday to Monday as well. No actual flight as of yet.

@vtcupcake, southwest flights are open if you want to try and get on the same flight.

I'm still leaning towards coming Thursday and would be down for hotel sharing if I do. I'll be driving in so I don't mind carpooling people who need rides! I'll have 4 extra seats in my car.

It sounds like we'll have the house Thursday night so that's good! My tentative plan is to get into town Thursday late afternoon/early evening, but I could maybe shift it a bit earlier. It's all dependent on when my SIL can get to our house to watch Z while my H is still at work. But I could potentially pick people up at the airport Thursday! Let me know what time your flight is once you've got it booked and we can figure something out!

Same goes for anyone else coming in Thursday, I dont mind picking people up if I'm around when you get in!

That sounds good. I’ll scope out flights for both Thurs and Friday morning. (Friday morning would work better for me too, but with dicey New England weather, I’m nervous about having a smaller time buffer.)

Ok, my flight there is set-up. I’m going to be coming in on flight that lands around noon-ish on Thursday, if that helps anyone with their planning.

It’s getting closer!
I know quite a few of us are getting into town on Thursday. Do we have enough cars? I didn’t know if anyone had figured this out yet. I don’t mind getting one but I am leaving Sunday (and have a ride back that day).
If arrangements have already been made, is there room in a car for one more?

Re: cars - I was hoping to Lyft it back and forth to airport cause I don't feel like dealing with a car. Unsure if that is wise or not... The lyft app said it was like $55 or something each way. runblondie26 I think we get in around the same time if you are interested in sharing.

Also, I get in really early on Thursday afternoon (around noon) and am a little unsure what to do with myself. Might park it at a restaurant for a bit if anyone else gets in early. Husk is not open in the afternoon, but I'll try to find something good. Looks like Butcher and Bee is open all afternoon.

Yes to hitting up a restaurant on Thursday! I get in at 10:30 and I know we can’t get into the house until 4.
