I finally tested this morning. Holy crap!!!! I was totally not expecting to get a BFP!  I think I’m in shock. 



My first thoughts were “OMG Yay!!!” Quickly followed by “shit I have about 2 weeks before I start barfing all the time!”. I guess I really need to call the OB now!

I woke up soooooo sick this morning. It's mostly stomach pain, though, so I don't know if it's a flare up or if it's TWW related. All I know is that I'm absolutely miserable. Ugh.

I'll test on Saturday if my period hasn't arrived by then (it's due on Friday). I knew immediately last time when I got pregnant (before testing even) because I had terrible, constant heartburn. I feel basically fine now other than normal PMS, so I'll be pretty surprised if I get a BFP.

Thx guys! I was so excited this morning, but I noticed some more spotting today so now I’m getting a little nervous. Whatever happens, happens but I’ll feel much better after Sat which is when my period is supposed to show up. I almost told my sister since she knows we are TTC but maybe I’ll wait a few weeks.

Normal PMS symptoms here. I still anticipate getting my period in a day or two.

My PMS symptoms are probably all messed up because of the progesterone, right? Yesterday was my last dose for this cycle.

I spotted around the time of my second missed period so it could be nothing. But still, get thee to a doctor.

noodleoo, spotting is pretty normal but see if your OB will check your progesterone and your beta doubling time.

@opal, compassrose, thx, I do need to call my OB. I don't want to go back to my previous OB, but maybe I should call them just so that I can get in for testing. I can always switch a little later. I've been meaning to line up a new doctor for a while now.

More spotting and I'm starting to freak out, so I called my old OB office and spoke to a nurse. She said this is not unusual but basically nothing to do but rest and wait and see. She said it is too early to test now, but I guess if I'm still pg next week I can go in for blood work. I asked about progesterone and she said they'll test that next week, apparently it is still too early.

I don't feel much better, but thank you guys for telling me to call. I probably wouldn't have otherwise. The nurse was super nice so that was a little reassuring.  I think I'm freaking myself out because I know how common miscarriage is and I'm AMA so I'm scared.

Call a new OB and see if they can get you in. It's never to early to test for progesterone and the supplements are better started earlier. 
I'm so sorry you are going through this. Is your bleeding brown or red?

Every single month, I think I'm pregnant, but this month, I really feel like I'm pregnant. I've been pregnant 4 times, which seems enough to know. LOL

Tomorrow or Saturday, although now I have very faint spotting.  I jinxed it!

compassrose , mostly brown, maybe a little pink. I’ve been taking it easy and drinking a lot per the nurses advice. (Random: Why do they always say to increase fluids? What does that really do at this point?) I’ve been reading a ton and it could be implantation bleeding. I guess it is really normal. I never had that with DD so I’ve been panicking but I’m feeling better now and hoping it is nothing. I might call the other OB office tomorrow and see if they say something different about progesterone. That would be interesting. Thx for the advice.

noodleoo, yes, spotting is incredibly common. And brown is totally normal. It can be very delayed (and continue for weeks) from the blood from implantation. Mine only stopped with the progesterone supplements-- the downside is that if it's not viable, you won't miscarry with the supplements.

compassrose - What’s the likelihood of a BFP after getting a BFN at 14DPO? I’m expecting AF to show up tomorrow, so I’m kind of assuming that a BFN at this point means I’m definitely out.

It really just depends on implantation. I've had the first BFP show up at 15DPO before. Yes, implantation from days 7-10 is most common, but early and late both occur and the hcg isn't high enough to detect for at least 48 hours. And it's always possible you are off on ovulation, even with OPKs/temping. So likely? Maybe not, but possible, yes.  Is your temp still up? If not, you are probably out. But if it's still up, then you're not out yet.

I stopped temping after I confirmed ovulation, but I might go ahead and do a temp tomorrow morning to see where I’m at.

BFN on Friday (14DPO).
Temp was low-ish this morning (96.29).
No AF yet (expected to show up yesterday).

I’m ready for AF to just show up so I can move on to the next cycle already. 😡

You're on progesterone, right? Maybe it's dragging out your luteal phase (mine was 16 days on letrazole).
