You're on progesterone, right? Maybe it's dragging out your luteal phase (mine was 16 days on letrazole).

I am. I took it CD16-25 this cycle. I hadn’t considered that it might drag out my luteal phase, since I’m taking it to kick start AF and shorten my cycles. When I took it last cycle, which was anovulatory, AF started before I had even finished all of the doses.

That seems like it’s probably what’s going on now, though, since I POAS again today and got another BFN. Ugh.

I’m sorry katespade that is so frustrating. My luteal phase is always 12-13 days and it was 17 days when I took progesterone, so it definitely could be a factor.

I really wish my doctor had mentioned this possibility to me. I just saw her on Thursday and told her this was my first luteal phase since I started taking it, and it would have been really nice to know this might happen.

It’s always so hard when you are doing something new and the doctors don’t communicate. This all sucks enough without that added layer of confusion.

This does suck. Sometimes I think docs forget that this is all new to many of us.

ugh, so frustrating, katespade,

I'm usually extremely regular, and now a few days late. I was going to test on Saturday but it turned out we didn't have any tests in the house (oops!). Tested this morning and got what I thought was a BFN, but my best friend swears she can see a very faint line. I'll test again in a few days once I come up from the craziness that will be my job this week.

Hi All! Quick update: the spotting stopped and I've been testing every morning and the line keeps getting darker, so I'm finally feeling excited about my BFP. H and I are still in shock. Thank you all for the support and well wishes while I was having my freak out!

I'll be lurking here and continuing to send good thoughts to you all!
