So I just bought a ticket to go see it tomorrow in 3D. If anyone has anything they want me to watch out for, etc you have until 12:30pm pacific time to let me know!
I also want to think more on the sequence right after he snaps his fingers. Talk is it's created by the soul stone, similarly to when Thanos obtained it, so I wonder if there's more there...
Did you happen to look at the gauntlet after he snapped his fingers? It is "burned" for lack of a better way to describe it. Thanos' finger snap did something to the gauntlet and the stones.
One theory on the soul stone that I've seen tossed around is that Gamora's soul is in the stone. Since you have to sacrifice a soul in order to obtain the stone it isn't that far fetched.
Thor said something when talking to Rocket that makes me think that Loki isn't dead. He mentions that it isn't the first time he has died and this time he might be nearly dead. I don't remember the exact phrasing but Thor alludes to the fact that he might not be dead dead. Loki's interactions with Thanos and his use of specific words when speaking to Thor and Thanos lead me to believe that the trickster god did something while the Hulk was attacking Thanos and he managed to escape and the Loki we see isn't really him. Aside from him pulling his dagger on Thanos he does nothing to defend himself and we know that he isn't one to back down from a fight.
I've got so many random thoughts and theories floating around in my head but if I tried to type them out it would just be jumbled word vomit.

Wooooo! Both books are being delivered tomorrow instead of next week. I'm ready to get over my feels. H won't tell me what happens, he's a little sadistic at times.
Did it bother anyone else that Tony Stark, Genius, billionaire, playboy philanthropist had a flip phone? This I think was to me the most unbelievable thing in a movie with magic, nano-tech and superhero skills.
I would have been ok with Cap having a flip phone, but not Stark. Since he is a tech genius at a minimum I would expect a smart device, if not something implanted in his head.

That wasn't his personal phone - that was the burner phone Cap gave him (or, Tony Stank) at the end of Civil War to use if he ever needed Cap's help.

The Russo brothers visited a high school in Iowa and answered some spoiler-y questions for the students there. One big takeaway: Valkyrie is (probably) alive.

We finally saw it this morning in a very, very full theater.
Both DH & I commented as we were waiting through the credits how much we liked what was done with Thanos.
I'm going to try and make an effort to re-watch Dr. Strange this time, I've fall asleep the last two times I've watched it.

DS spent the last 10 minutes curled in in the fetal position in my lap, he audibly gasped and squealed, "No!" when Tom Holland started with the "I don’t want to go" line.
We were talking about Disneyland after the movie and we remembered the poster they just released in March for the MU expansion at DCA:
All of characters featured in the poster dusted or died in A:IW.
Its also the characters that you can meet at DCA this summer. They added Gamora to the Thor M&G and Dr. Strange will be here later this summer. Black Panther and Spiderman are current M&Gs.
Tom Holland’s last scene was the only one that made me tear up. The rest made me gasp but the more deaths I saw, the more I realized most probably wouldn’t be permanent. Now I need to figure out how to navigate the interwebz for possible theories while I wait for part 2.
I read that they didn't write him any lines - he improvised the whole thing. The "I'm sorry" got me.

Yes - we have family that work at DL & DCA and they said they've had a number of angry guests mention how upset they are about their characters dying during M&Gs.

What is a M&G?
Meet and greets with characters in the park. Disney has face and costumed Marvel characters at California Adventure and they are so much fun to interact with.
