Just found out there’s a Sephora opening near me and they’re giving out gift cards to the first 100 people there on Friday. Looks like I’m rescheduling some stuff to get in line lol.
I knew WnW changed packaging, but I didn't realize they tried to go fancy and add a transition shade. Interesting.
I'd be pretty happy with a matte transition shade in there actually...but they changed the lid color. I'm cranky about it. It's one of my favorite quicky shadows! I might even some day use it up!

Ahh, ok. That didn't translate on my monitor. Totally appropriate to be cranky!

I picked up two Stila liquid eye shadows - dolce and grace. Dolce was what I tried first and was meh about, yesterday I tried grace and it changed my entire perspective, it went on beautifully, dried down quickly and stuck like crazy. I need to try it swimming or something.
Also - Pur's blush book is crazy great. It's fan brush blush for me so wicked pigmented and by the end of the day still looks great.
Check your Ebates gals. I just got an email to do a gift card instead of a paypal transfer and Ulta gets you an extra 10%.
Man, I never get these offers and I don't see anywhere on the website to get them. I currently have my "check" sent to my PayPal account. I emailed customer service to see if they can do anything.

Thanks for the reminder! Sephora gift cards will also get you 10%.
I got mine in a Sephora gift card. I tried the Drunk Elephant Pekee and Juju cleansing bars during the Sephora sale and now I'm hooked! Mine skin feels so nice after using these for the last week. I also got the Acid Trip kit and can't wait to try the products. Now I have $105 to spend!

I missed it last time, they emailed me but only gave me like 12 hours notice so I didn’t see it in time. I’m curious what they will reply to you, it seems like a crapshoot...almost like Ulta’s coupon emails 😄

I picked up my bday gift from Ulta, it is a Nars orgasm blush. I was excited until I opened the box and realized how it was designed to be deceptive of size and very wasteful packaging. Grrr...
I attempted to wear a bright matte lip this morning and I just couldn't do it. I put it on. I left the house. I then proceeded to take off the top layer of my lips scrubbingit off in the car. It just did.not.look.right.

I have been playing with liquid and cream eye shadows. I plan on easy breezy looks for weekends during the crazy heat and humidity of the summer. Pop Sugar has a liquid metallic eye color, Make Waves that is pretty wild. I now have to test the longevity of it. the color I picked up is No Bad Days, a plumy taupe. Fingers crossed it lasts.
ETA: it’s going back, doesn’t have staying power worth poop.

My skin is going crazy. I'm getting rosacea bumps all over and being super dry. I can't figure out what the cause is. I've cut out anything even remotely new and I'm still breaking out. Ugh. I have a big red bump on the top of my nose and have no way to cover it at work.
I bought a new primer skincare product. Now that my skin is in a good place I want to find a primer that will work for me.
It's a k-beauty product - J. One Jelly Pack. I thought snail mucin was weird. This stuff is the most bizarre product I've ever put on my face.
It's like thick snail mucin, almost the consistency of Elmer's glue but clear. I 'finger paint' it on my skin and let it set. It gets really sticky and makes my face gets tight like Elmer's glue is drying on it. And after a few minutes my skin feels super hydrated and baby soft.
I'm getting ready to put makeup on. I will let you know how well it works as a primer.

Skin is so frustrating. I always do the run down of checking for new hair or body products, new detergents, or food/stress triggers. Cut out actives and baby your skin if you can. I'm not sure how rosacea works with products.

I’m so excited! I have 2 foundations that are almost empty! That means I can buy 2 new ones lol! I also have a blotting powder that I’m scraping the sides of that I need to replace.
I’m having a hard time finding a primer that doesn’t settle into my pores. I’ve tried a bunch but nothing works.

This sounds so weird, and I’m dying to know how it works out for you.
I used my ebates check to pick up the Soft Glam palette. It’s my first non- Urban Decay palette and I haven’t tried it yet, but the shadows feel so smooth and finely-milled upon swatching!
