secretlyevil, I like the WnW concealer, but it's no ShapeTape. I'd call it a Nars creamy concealer dupe. My Shapetape started oxidizing in the tube (after a year) so I had to trash mine. I've tried a good 80% of concealors from Sephora and a few from Ulta, but not found a dupe yet. The closest I've found was the MUFE HD concealer in a tube and the Guerlain in a tube. But the MUFE creases like a MFer on me, and the Guerlain isn't quite as pigmented.
I have the weirdest zit. At least I assume it's a zit. It's just settled into being a little tiny lump on my chin/jawbone that refuses to either go away or come to a head. At first it seemed like a normal zit - kinda painful, reddish, and then it stopped hurting and turned regular skin color again and now it's just...there. It's been like two weeks.
what the hell! how do I make it go away? I tend toward the occasional one-off hormonal zit on my chin, and this was right in line with that pattern, but now it's outstayed it's welcome.
That's why I bought a trial/travel size of the Paula's Choice BHA 9. I use that on those weird little fuckers and it seems to help, usually.

I have a rehersal dinner and wedding at the end of this week; still don't have my make up figured out. I guess I'll be packing three times the amount of makeup I need. Good thing we're taking the giant bag...

Hmm, a stronger BHA would be a good idea. In the meantime I guess I could start spot treating it with the one I do have on a more frequent basis...
I kinda half tried stabbign it ast night, but it's too deep. I'd have to really stab myself, and I'm afraid to do that.
I had a productive afternoon: A girlfriend and I went to the big shopping center near us-she wanted to go to Warby Parker for me to help her pick out new sun and eyeglasses and we both wanted to go to Sephora and Nordstrom.
I returned my unused Orgasm lip balm and the unused foundation brushes I had ordered and grabbed the Sephora lipstories in Hong Kong nights and their tightline brush. I wanted to get the orgasm lip gloss but they didn't have it so I'll just try to order that. And I can't bring myself to return the ABH Prism Palette and the Subculture palette (from Macy's) that I got for half off each. I also swatched Just Peachy mattes-my seller I was supposed to buy from ghosted me but Too Face sent me a 25%/FS code so I could get it for about $34. Tempting.
At Nordstrom I got samples of the Mac strobe cream in the gold color and the peach color and a sample of the Kiehls Glow Hydrator. I totally forgot to get the sample of Chanel Tan de Chanel I wanted and they didn't have the Charlotte Tilbury line in store. Boo.
My friend got a few skincare samples that I helped point her towards.
I also went to Anthropologie to use a credit to get the French Girl face polish powder and they were half off so I got the last two bottles of it!

Sadly you are correct...WnW one doesn’t stand up well. I put it to a really test today and my circles were showing through by end of day. Grrrr...
Does anyone have the Sweet Peach palette and do you love it? As I mentioned, I destashed the MUR Neutrals vs Newtrals palette but the peach/pink/rose colors are what I really liked and wondering if Sweet Peach would be a good replacement.
I do and love it. I wear shadows from it frequently. It's very flattering on me and it's great for warm summery looks. (To be clear, you're talking about the Too Faced palette?)

Yes ma'am. I think it's on its way to me, I'm so excited to try it out. I also destashed Modern Renaissance, Lorac Pro 1 and some other palettes this past week. Soft Glam is gorgeous but it's more rose and bronze-ish colors than peach so I really think these will be new colors for my eyeshadow collection.
I hate when products are at the very end and then just crumble to the floor when you are trying to use it. Ugh. It happened twice to me this morning. Good thing we don't get our new carpet for another 2 weeks. I'd have been PISSED if that happened on the new carpet.

Same! And between an appointment DH has tonight, Kid1’s preschool EOY program tomorrow morning, and half day on Friday to get to the rehearsal, I have basically no time to figure it out. #allthemakeup

I forgot my lash curler. I think I packed 10 lipsticks but forgot the lash curler. Oy, I wonder if I can convince H a trip is Ulta when we land is essential? 🤔😂😉
Hmm, got the sweet peach palette today and so far I'm not that impressed but in all fairness, I wasn't doing a bang up application job. I'll need to work on it some more. If it doesn't work, I'll either try the Marc Jacobs fantascene palette or just rebuy the MUR Newtrals vs Neutrals for the peaches.

I used points a couple months ago to get Sweet Peach. I just used it today. I got SO. MUCH. FALLOUT. from the black (Tempting). And I pressed it on, not brushed it on. It was so, so bad.
Except I have to wonder how much spf you're actually getting out of it unless you really douse your face. And also it's got all the "bad" active ingredients.
But still, intriguing. are there other similar products out there like this that people have tried and can vouch for?

I just used a sample of the SuperGoop one this weekend. I'm not sure how well it really performed as I had on my moisturizer with sunscreen, plus the SuperGoop CC cream as my primer (it has SPF), plus my foundation and setting powder. But I did do a final spray of my face with it.
I did not get burned. So, I don't know really, LOL. I plan to take it with us on vacation where I will be out in the sun all day (Disneyland) and plan to spritz throughout the day as an extra protection since I'm sure my foundation will be melting off my face.

The AmorePacific spf spray from the Sephora sun safety kit is terrible. I was also excited to take it to Disneyland, but didn’t test it first until the time came to reapply... it made my eye makeup all run off (it never does that), my face was super shiny, and then my contacts got cloudy 5 minutes afterward. It also had a very strong fragrance which bothered me.

Yes! That spray is terrible. So disappointing. It’s probably the only thing out of that kit I won’t finish.
