I was cleaning out our hall closet today and stumbled across an old makeup bag in a purse I haven't used in maybe two years. It was full of all the lipsticks I've been hunting for lately and couldn't find in my stash! I feel like such an idiot for not looking in that purse earlier.
wawa - Urban Decay’s Bittersweet is close. It’s a bit cooler (bluer maybe?) and matte. It’s funny because the lipgloss bittersweet is so not the same color. I haven’t had much luck finding something that I think is a true dupe. There’s a couple on Temptalia’s list I want to swatch.
Skincare question...my mom has quite a bit of redness in the center of her face, maybe even broken capillaries? Is there anything that helps that?
She should probably see a derm. This sounds like rosacea.
It doesn't really look like rosacea, but she probably does need to see a derm :/ Maybe it's sun damage related? I was hoping for some miracle cream, hah.
I've been using it in the mornings now for a few months and my skin has never looked smoother or clearer. I think it's touted as a comparable product to Sunday Riley Good Genes.

Oh cool, I might get the mandelic acid peel, I have a hyperpigmented spot of my cheek from them ripping off a piece of skin when they removed tape from my face after surgery. Vit C isn't doing the trick to get rid of it.

Thanks for the rec! I've been looking for an alternative to the TO I've been using up. My face seems to love lactic acid It is unlikely that I will ever pay Sunday Riley prices.

I've been sick since last Monday. My face is already showing the results of my slacking and overall feeling like crap. I think I have finally turned a corner to significant health improvement and need to get back to my routine. Poor face.

Damn I wish I checked this thread earlier!

I picked up the June birthday gift from ulta and they also gave me a mascara Birthday gift from a past month that they were trying to get rid of, which was nice. I wanted to use my 20% off coupon but there was pretty much nothing in stock. I don’t NEED anything, but I wanted to impulse shop. Ugh.
secretlyevil, I like the WnW concealer, but it's no ShapeTape. I'd call it a Nars creamy concealer dupe. My Shapetape started oxidizing in the tube (after a year) so I had to trash mine. I've tried a good 80% of concealors from Sephora and a few from Ulta, but not found a dupe yet. The closest I've found was the MUFE HD concealer in a tube and the Guerlain in a tube. But the MUFE creases like a MFer on me, and the Guerlain isn't quite as pigmented.
Have you tried this one yet? I saw people raving about it in a FB group I belong to.
My beloved Hourglass primer has to be given up. It irritated the shit out of my eyes all day today. Like, I was in a parade and yes, I was sweating, but I fully felt an irritation tear run down my face. It never used to irritate my eyes, but now it happens almost every time I've used it in the past month.
So, anytime have a favorite primer for normal to dry skin that makes makeup stay in place beautifully?

BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer
No, not yet. The color I think I need was OOS during the VIB sale when I bought (and ended up returning) $300 worth of concealers.
