I hope your appointment goes well and you get an u/s referral suzv
((Hugs)) wineandcheese. Hope this week goes well for you!
Today: grocery shopping, Costco, getting ready for Disneyland tomorrow (it’s our last time til Aug/Sept...they are also changing their pass rules so who knows if we will renew after this year).
Tuesday: Disneyland with my dad and step mom
Wednesday: preschool
Friday: preschool, chores
Saturday: hopefully some time at the lake in the morning, date night with DH after the boys are in bed
Sunday: it’s our anniversary!! Not sure what we will do in the morning but we are planning to do happy hour at our wedding venue in the early evening (we will have the boys with us).
I also need to finish DH’s FD gift. Hoping to have it done by Friday! Oh, and I was up coughing all last night...hoping I can stay healthy enough to enjoy all that we have going on this week!
Well if you saw my posts in the @ thread, I'm going to put myself in a bubble. Lol. E is doing well but H was sick all night. He seems a little better now. My stomach was a little gross feeling earlier but I'm thinking (hoping) it was just my anxiety and lack of sleep. So I'm spraying Lysol and washing my hands like crazy today!
Hopefully we're all healthy by this weekend because we have a wedding on Sat for the sister of one of H's BFFs. Then we're off next week to do the floors so we'll start clearing stuff out and cleaning up so we're ready!
I finally, FINALLY have my first prenatal appointment on Friday. I'm so excited and anxious and nervous and terrified at the same time. H is just over the moon excited about it. Based on what he's heard from his coworkers whose wives use the same OB office, they should do an exam and ultrasound and all that.
My cousin is graduating from high school on Saturday, so if I'm feeling okay we'll probably go to her graduating party in the afternoon.
estrellita, I go crazy sanitizing anytime I think someone is even remotely sick in my house. I use this stuff and let is dry completely so that it completing disinfects. I also started using laundry sanitzer because of daycare germs.
Make sure your H sprays down every surface of the bathroom he is using and that he scrubs his hands.
I've been using a spray from Target that I had last time H had a stomach bug so I just went around spraying door knobs and light switches. He did wipe down the sink with sanitizing wipes and cleaned the toilet last night but has been sick since he did that so I'll either do it again or have him do it. I'm of course not watching but I think he's scrubbing his hands pretty well. A laundry sanitizer is a good idea, I didn't think of that! I'm not sure where the bug came from. H said people at his work were sick and he was sick before (doctor said it was food poisoning), then E got sick either from him or DC. I'm thinking H either got sick again from the water bottle he hadn't washed or from cleaning E up when he was sick the last 2 weekends. Who knows!
I’m working tues-fri this week. I have one more month of working this position and then I start my next job. I’m currently holiday relief so I jump from station to station, and now I have my own spot so I don’t have to go from place to place. I’m excited.
katespade- good luck on friday!! I am so excited for you guys and praying it goes perfectly!! Happy early anniversary (is yours the 11th?)!!
awick14- the only reason I am so on top of FD is because I came up with this idea and it’s a huge project that will probably take 40 hours of my time. It’s a 366 day calendar (184 pages front and back, one page for a Happy Fathers Day and a note on the back) that has pictures of us and the boys...it can be used for every year. I made one for our first wedding anniversary that was much more detailed (quotes, song lyrics, love notes, words of encouragement, etc)...this one just has pictures and dates of when the picture was taken and sometimes how old the boys are in the picture.

Nothing major this week which I am stoked about! DH is off on Thursday so I am hoping to get in for a much overdue haircut (and maybe eyebrow wax and pedicure) My problem is I need to find a new place since I used to go by my parents' but then they moved so I don't go to that area anymore...and I've been dragging my feet on finding something here.
I need to run to a bunch of stores, schedule some appointments and get an oil change this week too. It's basically a catch up week for me. I'm hoping the weather is decent this weekend because we want to go downtown and walk around and grab something to eat.
DH had to work yesterday. He surprised me after work by stopping by the grocery store and bringing back some of my favorite treats. He also grabbed stuff to cook dinner for me. It was just really thoughtful and showed he has been listening to me lately.
This week is filled with kid activities. Going OOT to have a playdate with BFF and her kids on Friday. Pumped to see her. Thinking of trying to plan an early anniversary date on Saturday if MIL can babysit.
bk1- that was super thoughtful of your DH! Glad you guys had a great ending to your weekend! Hope you get to go out on Sat to celebrate your anniversary! Happy early anniversary to you guys as well!!
melsamoony- good luck on Thurs! Praying for a great appointment!

katespade he’s liking his new job. He’s already doing overtime lol. Good luck with your appointment!
I knew I shouldn’t of worn eye makeup today. My partner already made me cry. He gave me the sweetest card.
I’ve gained way too much weight the last few weeks. I’m trying to stop my emotional binge eating. I cleaned ALL the junk food out of my house so now I can only binge on Halo Top, mini cucumbers and tomatoes lol.
HoneySpider - It amazes me that tanning salons still exist. Tanning salons/beds are really popular where I live, I'm assuming because I'm near a college town and it rains for so much of the year. I know a lot of people who use them regularly, and I just don't understand.
ETA: Then again, I suppose the same could be said for a lot of things. I know a lot of people who smoke cigarettes, too...

MrsMB and other essential oil people: This is probably a dumb question, but I know nothing about this stuff. I was given 2 bottles of Young Living eo - what do I do with them? I'm assuming I need some type of diffuser but what? I don't really feel like investing a lot of money in something to be able to use them, but it would also be silly to not use and waste them.

Yeah, which oils they are definitely matters, especially since you're pregnant and you have a young kiddo at home. Hopefully, the person who gave them to you kept that in mind, but I know that there are a lot of YL users who don't really know what they're talking about when it comes to EO safety so it's always good to double check.
Depending on which ones they are, you may be able to use them topically or aromatically without worrying about buying a diffuser, though.
