And I would sew it myself. Except I would put a serious amount of lace on that hem, like gallons of frothy lace that would trail behind me as I walked.
I'd wear a bathing suit because my next wedding is going to be on a faraway beach with no guests except that cute kid collecting conch shells who photobombs us.
It'd probably look exactly the same honestly. I had such big ideas about what style dress would suit me, and what style I wanted (which was not neccessarily typical bridal style at all)...and I tried on about 30 different dresses in pursuit of those big ideas. But once I tried on that dress it was all over. I coudln't get it out of my head. It just made me feel pretty. And tall. Weirdly tall. I tried on about a dozen dresses after that one, but none of them were as good.

I really really really wanted this dress when I was looking. But that's because is looks like lace and very light in the picture. When I tried it on, it was all beading and really heavy. If I could have this in lace, I'd want that:
Something like this, but I'm going to need her body as well:
I love lace gowns. I bookmarked a lot of those suckers when i first started looking, but not a single one I tried on looked right on me. I'm just not a lace kinda girl I think.
I think I would do something like this. I love those elegant lace dresses. Mine had NO lace because I wanted super simple. If I had it to do over again, I'd do less lace but with an a-line skirt, no petticoat.

The sisters cannot handle such a low back despite my absolute adoration for these styles.

This dress is GORGEOUS, but I fear I might be too boobalicious.

That was my problem. I loved lace, and I looked terrible in every lace dress I tried on.
I'd either do something tea-length and maybe 50s retro-style, or I'd do, like, a purple silk evening gown. Either way, I'd only invite about 10 people and I'd do it in Scotland or something. I already had a really traditional wedding dress, which I liked, but I don't need to do it again.
Right now I wouldn't change my dress. But if I could look awesome in any dress, I would have gotten something like similar to these:
I would probably do something like this, but with the skirt flaring out a little lower down (is that mermaid style?). My sister's wedding dress has a similar style and I lovelovelove it...there's nothing like wedding dress shopping for someone else to make you want to get married again
You know what I would change? My stupid shoes. I wore these lame ass typical weddingy white satin shoes when what I really wanted was these:
but they got discontinued in that color before I could buy them, and I coudln't find my size on ebay in time.
Ooh, those are CUTE! I had shoes dyed royal blue (with purse to match) for my wedding and loved them, even if my feet did hurt like a sumbitch. Here they are...
