Which is why you listen to the teachers/director. They don’t spend tons of time on classroom assignments for fun. They place kids strategically so they have the best possible placement.
Omg. Did you respond with a big eye roll emoji and a big fat I told you so?
Lololol.
I wanted to SO much!! I was just like "well at least they will still hang out every day at dropoff, pickup and playground time!". The classes are buddy rooms and so we drop off and pick up every day in P's classroom, it really all makes her demands seem SO silly. Meanwhile, L couldn't get out of the house fast enough today to get to her new classroom, she is loving it!

So much this. Why these parents don't put some trust in the teachers/schools is beyond me. ALl this micromanaging in pre-k!!!! What are these women going to do in elementary school and beyond???
Yes, that's rhetorical. I know one of "these" moms. She has 4 kids and EVERY YEAR she wants to dictate which teacher ALL of them get.
Ha! And he'll be bored AF like my friend who put her kid in Pre-K instead of K last year and then was upset that they weren't learning sight words like the K class and that he was getting in trouble all of the time because he was bored and acting out. Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.
