Looking forward to our book club discussions in 2019!! (In the meantime, join our discussion of this month's book "We Were Eight Years in Power" here and don't forget to read next month's pick "The Bear and the Nightingale")
Thank you! I have already read American Marriage, have Nightingale downloaded for when I finish Eight Years tonight, and put the Feb book on my hold list, so I'm feeling very prepared!
I'm excited to dive into these. A woman at work said The Children of Blood and Bone is not only good, but leaves you with book hangover!
I read it for an in-person book club a few months ago. It's definitely good, and definitely leaves you wanting to read the next one. I believe it is the first book in what will become a trilogy.
I've actually read half the books for 2019 already, so I will try to read the others and participate! Thankfully I think I read most of them in 2018 so hopefully my memory won't completely be garbage and I can remember things to contribute. It may also prompt me to do a re-read of the Nightengale, which I loved the first time around but it's been a few years so details are fuzzy.
