shauni27 - but somehow still in 18 month pants. My kids build makes no sense to me. Haha he actually hasn’t gained any weight since his 18 month appointment! A girl I know from high school just posted on Facebook that her kid that JUST turned one is THIRTY FIVE POUNDS. that kid is solid.

That’s the problem!! I got some adjustable waist shorts because his 18 month pants are getting so short. But 24month pants from Carter’s fall straight to his ankles as soon as he tries to walk. But with his giant head and broad shoulders he’s in 24m/2T tops.

It was once we moved into toddler sizes that I started moving away from Carters. Their pants are SO BIG in the waist. I recommend Old Navy, Childrens Place, Garanimals, and Cat and Jack (from Target) for pants and shorts that don't fall down.

Hold crap! Z is 3.5 yo and 37lbs. I cant even fathom picking up a 35lb one year old constantly! 😱
Ha! My just turned 4 year old is 36 pounds and my tiny almost 7 year old is only 42 pounds!!
Finally feeling a tad better. Rough week with my due date than made rougher by my sister in law announcing she’s pregnant with her second. I had my first miscarriage a month before their first was born and I was pregnant when we went out when he was a few months old... and I still don’t have the baby I was hoping for. Happy for them, but sad for me. And dreading the next 6 months of constant talk about her pregnancy and baby, etc from her and from my in laws. My sister in law I am less worried about as she is more sensitive to others but my in laws basically think since the miscarriages are done and “we already have two great kids” all is great. They made zero mention of the losses after they actually happened.
Sorry for the brain dump, but I appreciate he place to put the thoughts with people who “get it.”
Thankful we have a super low key weekend with nothing really planned.
I graduated from my fertility clinic today. Baby is measuring 3 days ahead and heart beat is 169. Best news is no more PIO shots! I have to do the progesterone suppositories for 2 weeks and then I am done I also got an envelope with the sex but I don’t know how we are going to find out yet. We tell our son and some immediate family this weekend!
When did people go on maternity leave? I’m so sick of work (this is our most busiest time) and everyday I have to convince myself not to just walk out and never come back.
Initially I was thinking of working for as long as I can, but I don’t know if that’s going to work. I’m due Aug 22, and 30 weeks today. I doubt that I’m coming back - if I were, it would be in a part-time or capacity after 3 months.

If you can afford to leave now then do it. It was not an option for me, but I did start working part time, from home, around 34 weeks if I recall. I stopped working entirely at 38 weeks. But I was coming back to work and I am the primary earner in our home.
The last few weeks are miserable. It was so hard to come into work. I was so bored (it was a new job for me) and I was so uncomfortable and tired. I Would go out and nap in my car every day for like an hour.

I wish I had gone earlier. I was so miserable. I was scheduled to have my last day at 38+4 ... and then went into labor at 38+2.
This time, I plan to leave at 36 weeks. I do not think I’m going back though.

With my first, I had an easy pregnancy and felt good and worked literally up to my due date (was on call on 40w0d, my induction started an hour after my shift ended).
My second, I was SO DONE with work by like 32 weeks. However, I stayed until 39w5d this time. Minus 2 weeks off for modified bedrest due to preterm contractions. I was off bedrest at 36 weeks and it was so hard to go back. I didn't wanna. But I was trying to save my time so that I could stay home as long as possible after baby was born. That was more important to me than having time off beforehand. Besides, I wanted to go into labor on my own and I hope/think all the walking I did helped with that. I went into labor at 40w0d exactly.
I am back part time now. However, DH and I are considering having me stay home full time and concentrate on the kids and school. Had I known earlier that would be an option, I may have just quit before my due date.

Not sure if this is a state thing, but we're able to go out at 36 weeks. Or if you know you'll be delivering before that (in the event of a planned c-section), and your doctor is nice, they'll write you out for before that. I went out at 35 weeks, but baby will be born at 37 weeks. So I'm not getting the full month off beforehand, but at least I'm getting some time to try and get things done.

Just updating--I got some 2T jeans and khakis from taget (Cat and Jack brand) and they have adjustable waists. They fit great!

I had an FET last Friday to try for a second. I’ve managed to keep my mind busy for the last week, but I feel the IF PTSD creeping in tonight. We’ll do a pee test on Sunday morning before I go in for the blood work.
I know I haven’t posted much lately, but I still read regularly. I just had to tell someone.

Why am I just now seeing this? That is HUGE! E1 is almost 4 and still hasn't hit 35 pounds!

I KNOW! I just looked it up again to make sure I wasn’t just losing it and nope. 35 pound one year old. P is 27 pounds and just turned 2!

Yes, insominac! You can go out at 37 weeks for no reason other than pregnancy. If you don’t go back, you don’t go back. I banged around my house for three weeks before DS was born, and was so bored that I planned to work until my scheduled c/s date with DD...and then of course she came early. 😂
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

Would this annoy you...we have pretty much kept this whole IVF thing under wraps. Our parents and my sister were the only immediate family we told. I told DH he could tell his brother, but he never brought it up to him. I specifically told my mom not to tell my bro, that I would when I was ready. Our parents/sister knew it was private info. I told my brother during my transfer cycle, but by the time I told him he already knew bc my mom told him. Today we told BIL we are pregnant and he already knew we were doing IVF from FIL (he tried to say DH told him, but later admitted it was FIL). I just feel like if it’s not your story to tell, you have no business telling it for me, ya know?
vmars, that would absolutely bother me. Your news to share!!
Today S started his new daycare. I know he is safe and fine, and his teacher already emailed me to confirm that he was doing great. I still feel sad, though, and imagine he is really confused. I know this is the best thing for our family, but this is harder for me than when he first started daycare because now he is old enough to understand a little bit.
So I'll be having a baby next Tuesday. I'm so worried about how much this is going to rock DS' world. And I'm not looking forward to all the newborn stuff again.
We had our retrieval this morning, 11 eggs! Highest number yet, I went into this retrieval telling myself I’d be happy with 6 because my AFC wasn’t as high this month as the cycle we conceived DS so am really happy with 11. Now the wait for the call tomorrow with how many were mature and how many fertilized.

That’s awesome! We had 13 retrieved and 3 pgs normal embryos.
Chrysanthemum !!!! congrats! kellikans HOLY CRAP. That went WICKED fast! I feel like you just found out you were pregnant. pandora89, exciting! Congrats! Super random story--so I had a grand total of 6 eggs for retrieval. My cousin just froze her eggs because she is going through chemo (at the age of 31) and she had 37 retrieved! I was like "GOOD GOD!" lol.
