Depending on your budget, a nugget couch works for all those ages. Our 10 month old niece likes to crawl and climb on it, my 10 year old middle schooler and her friends use it to build forts, obstacle courses, and as a bed for sleepovers. And of course all the ages in between play with it in different ways.

Are these comfortable enough for an adult to sit on?

Yes. I was surprised at how comfortable it is. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. We now have 2 😂
I'm looking for a 3 year old boy, also insanely active. He loves anything to do with emergency vehicles, but we already have quite a few fire trucks. I might get him the Playmobil ambulance though, and maybe the police or fire station. Any other suggestions welcomed! I'll also take ones for outdoor toys or other things that can keep him occupied indoors in the winter.
I like the remote control car idea! And idk how I always forget legos, he loves them. I’m sad I missed the sale recently it would’ve been perfect to stock up.
Well I'm stumped at the moment because I thought A would want something horsey from Santa, since she loves all things horse-related. But she has just informed me she wants a toy cougar and not a stuffed one and WTF do I do with that?
It's my fault. She's been obsessed with cougars ever since I told her our island has the highest concentration of them in the Americas. I probably shouldn't have also told her she was snack sized.

6yo insanely active boy who wants nothing but screen activities but turns into a lunatic after 4 minutes of them.
Board games - current favorites are catan jr, outfoxed, super tooth Snap circuits Scooter Balance board Osmo? Screen time but educational. LEGO Hot wheels tracks Hockey set for backyard/driveway Suction archery set, can be done inside Keyboard
My 7 year old got a science experiment book and is obsessed. Easy stuff he can do himself or with minimal help around the house.

Little tikes Trampoline?
My parents bought my 2.5 year olds this trampoline for Christmas! I’m excited to set it up for them. We’re setting up a new play area in our basement so this will go well down there in the winter.
beerlover - We also bought them this outdoor snow globe for the backyard, along with their own snow shovels. I think they’re gonna love it

These are better for school-age kids (readers/writers). My mom got my kid one of the higher priced kits and it's so cool. Creative, non-plastic, leaves no mess.

A restaurant we go to does these instead of crayons for kids. This popped up in my FB feed and I picked them up for my nieces (ages 6-10). But the reviews say kids as young as 3 love them.

ETA well H just told me he thought they'd get bored with this so who knows 🙄
We have this and my kids (7 and almost 4) like it. It requires some parental help though ime. My 7 year old has just started being able to build stuff on his own but needs us to help hold up parts etc.
They are more likely to create other stuff like golf clubs or things to hit each other with out of them. They also love to dump the balls down the stairs into a tub or bin on its side.

We have this and while I definitely have to help set up, it keeps them busy for quite a while (6 and 4 years old). I pull it out for a crappy weather activity.
That said, I bought it at Aldi last year for like $14 before a big blizzard and thought it was worth it. I wouldn't want to pay $50.

Ohh that's a huge price difference. I'll hold off unless I can find it cheaper. Thanks!
My almost 9 year old DD finally came up with a list. Amazingly it's all pretty reasonable so between her birthday and Christmas she will get it all.
Harry Potter Legos AG Mary Ellen doll AG soccer outfit AG skate park AG locker Blank comic book and nice colored pencils Compass Hydroflask Alex Bregman shirt
Things we have gotten her in the past that are still used all the time: V-tech action camera (got 5 years ago...still going strong) Badminton net/rackets Nintendo Switch Fitness tracker Our Generation ice cream truck AG dolls AG hotel Card games/Board games like Skip-Bo, Sorry, Uno, Connect 4, Qwirkle
I think we are leaning towards getting DS (18 months) a pikler triangle with the ramp/slide board. Hopefully it will keep him entertained during our long, cold winter.

Do you have a link for this?
I am ordering it from a local couple who have a business making it & other wooden items. There are a lot of them on etsy too.
If you are considering getting out, they come in 2 sizes, I would recommend going with the larger as the kids outgrow the smaller one quite fast.
