Do you mind sharing if you’re happy with it, how it reads on your walls, etc. Quarantine is getting to me and I’m turning to my first love - home decorating- to pull me out of my funk.
We are still in heavy lockdown mode here...NYC area :-( .....so no endless trips to paint store for samples. I have a chip of Pale Oak and am thinking of going with it. A local hardware store has curbside pick up.

Used it throughout our new addition and love it. Walls of bedroom, hallway, and bathroom are Pale Oak. Trim is Chantilly Lace and laundry room is Cumulus Cloud. Pics here:
ETA: I forgot those pics were taken on a pretty overcast day. This is the best pic I could find of it in sunlight, and how it looks right now:
It seems to photograph darker than it "reads" -- I would say it "reads" as a pale linen color, VERY light an neutral but enough of a "color" that it contrasts with the clean white trim.
dr.girlfriend thank you so much for your response- I really appreciate it. The color looks great in your space! If I recall corrrectly you are the poster who lightened Revere Pewter or didn’t like revere pewter or something. I’m curious how you would compare pale oak to revere pewter - much lighter and brighter? Thank you so much!

It's a little hard to judge...not only are they totally different spaces facing different directions, but the previous owners had painted Revere Pewter and we painted it over with Pashmina as soon as we bought the house in 2008. Here's a post with some of those listing photos though...my issue with RP was that it looked too light, so it looked more like a dirty white to me. I don't have that issue at all with Pale Oak.
Looking back at those listing photos with more experience the problem may have been more the lack of a crisp white contrast -- the previous owners did a lot of colored trim (cream, dark blue, dark green) much to my chagrin -- if they had cream trim and ceiling it might have contributed to the dirty white look, along with having no real lighting in there. We have recessed lighting in there now, and looking at other people's pics I definitely like Revere Pewter best when there's nice trim. I will say that I think Pale Oak is more solidly in the light beige / linen category. I don't see it looking too grey-ish -- it goes more from medium beige in shadow to very light beige in sunlight.
I'm painting it now! I have the color put into Sherwin Williams Cashmere flat. I love the finished look, but I've noticed this in the process: the wet paint looks yuck. Like pale yellowy cream. The first coat looks terrible. The second coat is where the magic takes place in my home! I've done 1 guest bedroom, upstairs hallway, and I'm currently painting the front room in the house. I'm undecided if I will continue the color into the back of the house (kitchen, living room) or if I will choose something a smidge lighter. I saw that Sea Pearl (oc-19) is 1 shade lighter on the Pale Oak strip.
PS - Google Samplize. They mail 12x12 peel-n-stick samples of paint color. I think they are around $6 each.
Pale oak was one of my top 2 finishers but we ended up with Classic Gray bc I liked the undertones of that one a little more. Both are beautiful imo, like pp said, very light neutral but with enough pigment to differentiate from white trim. If it’s helpful here is a pic of classic gray (sorry about weird view, I don’t have good pics saved on my phone).

I used it in a couple rooms about five houses ago (so I don’t think I have any photos) and I really liked it. I’d try it again if I had a similar set up (ie wood floors and bright white trim).
