I know I don’t post much, but wanted to let you know.
The Biden administration has started the first round of forgiveness under the PSLF waiver this week. I read on Forbes the first wave was happening, logged in to my account this morning and all my loans say paid in full. I was actually still expecting to owe on one loan. I haven’t received an email or notice yet, and took screenshots of everything, and don’t fully trust it yet. I read on a Reddit thread a bunch of people are seeing the same things. So you may want to check your account!

Congrats!
I had my loans last year and essentially never received any documentation in the form of a letter. It was weird, but a year later and still no loans so I guess it worked out lol.
I submitted my form and now just have to wait which is hard! Lots of loans have been forgiven and some people are getting refunds. I should be eligible for a refund because I'm way past the 120 payments w/ a qualified employer and while I would welcome that I'll be just as happy to have them gone!!

Congratulations!!
My loans are currently in the cloud somewhere. They were transferred to fedloan years ago, and are now being transferred to Mohela. If I log into fedloan, everything is off their website. If I log into Mohela they say they've received the information but are still sorting it out and it'll be available on 11/28.
I hope this doesn't screw my pslf paperwork somehow.
You got my hopes up but there is nothing on my account yet, lol. Not even any additional payments applied yet, so I am guessing they haven't fully processed mine yet. Fingers crossed it happens soon!
I’m still maneuvering this since I don’t actually have a direct loans account as my loans haven’t been serviced via direct loans since 2014. But it gives me hope!!
A couple of questions if you don’t mind? Or I can PM if that’d be better. Did you apply online or did you have to mail in your form? I’ve been reading different things and am thoroughly confused on what I actually need to do. So I’m willing to listen to any advice you have. TIA!

I don’t mind! I have a fed loan account, so not sure if it would be different, but anytime I’ve turned in a form in over the last few years, I’ve uploaded the form on the site. In the past, I’ve also faxed forms.

I had to fax because I don't have a fed loan account.
I'm also going to use this thread to ask a question and vent briefly.
I have all direct loans. A few are from undergrad and are well over 10 years old. The others are from grad school and only 3-4 years old. Is it likely that they would only forgive the older loans? Can I get around this by consolidating?
I faxed in my application a few weeks ago. I neglected to add the page signed by my employer the first time, realized it immediately, and then resent with a note that the second was a corrected copy. I just got a letter in the mail saying that my document was missing a bunch of info all from that page. Now I don't know if I need to call, resend it, or just wait. Blargh.

You never know. I had three loans. Those loans had undergrad from 2000-2004 and graduate school which was 2007-2009. I thought I would still have to pay a little longer on one loan and it was forgiven with the other two.
My employer missed one thing on my form and had to call to correct it. I also submitted a new form during all that too. I got a letter about the missing info and then a few days later a letter that they received my new dorm. So, you might get a new letter soon since you resubmitted the form.

That is amazing!! I'm so happy this is really happening. It will be life changing for a lot of people. I'm waiting for my consolidation to Direct Loans to go through. I got the initial notice that they got my application and I had 10 days to make changes, then they would process it. I'm hoping the consolidation happens any day now.
I think I'll be about 30 payments over 120 (really more than that but I think they start the counting when the program started in 2007, not when I started paying them in 2005).
Does anyone know how long it takes them to process a loan consolidation to a direct loan? I put my application in on 10/31 and I'm jonesing to see this move forward.

I submitted a consolidation request right around then and saw this week that my consolidation went through. Do you have a FedLoan account already? I have other loans that are Direct and was able to make an account, and then today my one FFEL loan showed the consolidation loan.

My H consolidated last year before COVID, and I think it took at least a month. I would expect they are getting a lot of applications right now so I would assume it will take at least that long.
Well, mine were denied. Ugh. I don't think that is correct, so i need to call them. They are not counting anything before November 2010, even though I paid for 2 years before that while working for a qualifying employer. And even after 2010 a bunch of my payments are eligible but not qualifying, which makes no sense.
I hope they are helpful on the phone. I have never had a good experience speaking with them in the past.
ETA: I don't know why I am surprised that this program is still a mess. It appears that they believe I was in forbearance for almost 2 years from 2011-2013, which I am 100% certain was not correct. I do recall doing a 6 month forbearance at some point that may have been around 2011 but it definitely was not for 2 years. Of course, this was a decade ago when I thought I wasn't going to be eligible for PSLF anyway, so I don't have any records. It is also not counting anything from before my loans became direct loans in 2010, even though I believe from my reading that my previous payments (which were consolidated, federal loans) should qualify too.
Additionally, even though they have the dates of my employment that has been verified in one place on my account, there are some payments that are showing "needs employment verification" that fall within those dates on the payment tracker. So they should qualify.
All in all I think if I can get this straightened out, I'll still be eligible.
I set up a FEDLOAN account and have a letter stating consolidation is almost complete. WOOT - progress.
Will the REPAYE option qualify for PSLF? When I processed the loan consolidation it looked as though it would work but I really can't afford to eff this up.

I assume you’re saying you need more years/payments to qualify, and not trying to use the waiver to get you qualified now?
I joined this group, and they have tons of info and really attentive mods. It’s tough right now as many are jumping in to PSLF because of the waiver. I’d never really paid attention to rules beyond IBR! I think REPAYE is okay, but I know the answer will be in the guides in this group.

Did you have to wait to hear from them before setting up your fedloan account?
Girl we've been out of grad school for freaking FOREVER and I'll be so glad to have some forgiven if possible!
For those of you with questions or issues, I’ve seen on the Reddit thread I’m following, that Betsy from the Institute of Student Loan Advisors is very helpful. Looks like they offer help, advice, dispute resolution for free. freestudentloanadvice.org. If you’re having issues, may be worth a look.

I applied for consolidation on 10/29 and this thread prompted me to check my FedLoan account and I too have the letter saying they are almost done. Yay! Anxious to move on to the next step.

My loans have been fedloan since 2013. They received a note that they received my pslf application on 10/29. They just transferred to a new servicer this week. 🤦♀️ I am assuming they will be transferred back to fedloan.
I also just submitted a foia request for my payment history because my fedloan account didn’t show any of my loan history prior to it being transferred to them, even though I started paying in early 2010. I’m minimally hopeful I won’t need it, but figured it was good to have.
I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole in that Facebook group and am somewhat more hopeful than I was yesterday, but am immensely envious of those who are already off this dreaded roller coaster.
