Has anyone tried these out? I guess they are kind of like rugs made of vinyl? I keep seeing them on my Facebook and clicking on the site and then changing my mind. Kind of late to be asking though since I just impulse-ordered one...

I’ve never heard of them, but it reminds me of the 18th century floor cloths/canvases/oilcloths that you see in historical homes. The painted canvas cloths held up to a lot of wear in an old house I volunteered at occasionally. 😆

I was thinking the same thing. Floor cloths are great! We have some in my museum and they hold up to a lot of traffic and are so easy to clean!

I will definitely update. This is for my laundry room, which has a doggie door at the back and my dog is allowed to go in and out all day which means that she tracks a lot of mud and dirt in. I have a ruggable there, but I don't wash it as often as I'd like. I think this might be a better solution since I can just wipe it down with a mop instead of washing, although I'm not sure if it'll catch as much stuff. I do like the pattern, though!
I guess I never took photos of the space when it was finished, but here it is after the tile was laid but before the doggie door was cut into the door:

I have a little one. It looks like penny round tiles with a border. I put it in front of our washer and dryer, which is in our garage with a concrete floor. They are great to add a little visual interest and easy to clean! Mine doesn’t have any padding though so it’s only a tiny improvement from standing on hard concrete.

dr.girlfriend, have you gotten the Flat yet? I was scrolling through posts looking for ideas and just came across this one. We really need something like this for the kids bathroom (wood floors) and a couple other places. Wanted to see if these were worth ordering.
Honestly, we've had nonstop snow/rain since I bought it so I've had it down *plus* some easily-washable throw rugs on top of it to try to soak up the mess from the dog's paws before she hits the main house, so I can't really say yet how it holds up to doggie toenails, but I do like the look of it and it certainly seems easy to clean!
