Lashify is a total scam. I bought the initial kit and it was great. Lashes held up for several days once you got the hang of applying.
I bought some additional lashes in early December, went to use around Christmas. They were so brittle they were literally falling apart and crumbling when I touched them. I contacted their customer service and they said only the initial kit has a 30-day return policy -- lashes are 7 days to report any problems. So they hook you with the kit and then the rest is garbage.
They made me jump through a million hoops (sending photos, video) and still didn't offer any resolution, didn't stand behind the product at all. Wouldn't replace them or let me return them. I ended up opening a claim with my CC. Seriously terrible customer service.
Roomba. My H was so so excited to get one, and I was dubious. I was right. This thing is so dumb, I hate it.
I agree! So many people love it. I do not. I feel like I spend so much time setting up for it and it still get stuck and takes a long time. I can clean up and vacuum better much faster on my own.

Ooh I love ours, but we are childfree with a shedding dog so it’s easy and perfect for us.
We did try a Eufy as a less expensive option, though, and that thing is terrible. It got stuck all the time and I would watch it roll over something on the floor without picking it up.

I agree for the most part. But I do love that it gets under all the beds.
Oh. The shark wet mop. Waste of money. My floors were no cleaner and it broke quickly. I don't remember which one I had.
I haven't found anything made by Shark that I would recommend... their stuff is not great. We currently have a Shark vacuum that we hate.
I loved our original Dyson Animal, but we left it in CA when we moved. The smaller one we bought here was not worth the money spent. DH uses it in his office, then spends more time griping about it than he spent using it.
I hate Lululemon Align leggings. I mean they are comfortable but the material sucks! It pills like no other. Even my Amazon leggings hold up better. I love wunder unders but the align nulu fabric is the worst.
Ooh I have a hot take that’ll get me run off of this board, lol.
Athleta! I love the look and style of their clothing, I love that they have inclusive sizing, but the clothes wash horribly and look terrible after a few washes. We are careful with laundry, delicate cycle, all the best practices. My other clothes are all fine. Athleta stuff is pilly and limp looking. I thought it was isolated bc I do love the wrap and bc it’s so highly rated I thought maybe it was bad luck, so I got another item on clearance - a sweatshirt of the same material. Did the same thing.
LOL, I am a bit of an Athleta expert, shall we say. The fabric you speak of is Nirvana. I own a ton of it and I can say that it IS prone to pilling. I see it returned for this reason from time to time. The unfortunate part about the fabric is the very thing that makes it so soft and cozy also makes it less sturdy than other fabric. Washing in delicate alone is good, but it can still pill. I wash mine inside out and I hang to dry. Its also important to wash it with like fabrics. Washing it with say, jeans, esp. right side out can make it pill. Things with zippers can cause abrasion. All this rings true for the Powervita fabric (studio line leggings and pants) as well. As for the limpness that usually won't happen if you hang it to dry. It perks up quickly and most of the fabrics respond miraculously to steaming. I don't even own an iron, I steam everything.
In the spirit of honesty, it's not my favorite fabric. It def. does not respond to wear and tear as well as other fabrics. I am hard on my clothes so I am not the best candidate for it. It's soooo soft but it def. is moody. For sweatshirts I like the Sundown line which is organic cotton and gets soft like butter the more you wash it, with no pilling. The Triumph line wears like iron as does the Cozy Karma line - but they are def heavier. Anything that is "textured" will wear much better, even if it says Nirvana. They just came out with an Uptempo wrap. That'll be light and wash beautifully. That fabric is even softer than Nirvana but washes much more nicely.
Well this is dangerous info. I accept the pilling on the Nirvana/Beyond Soft stuff because I love it so much... but knowing Sundown washes better means I need to test it out, lol.
Their workout gear is amazeballs, especially anything with sculptec, and washes so much better. I have some leggings that are 10 years old and I wear them weekly and still look like new

We are childless with a shedding dog, too! Still hate it! The other day, the damn thing spit up all the dog hair and leaves it had picked up when it got stuck at a corner. It's a bigger pain than the dogs themselves! LOL.

We have a Eufy, but I grudgingly agree. I liked it ok when we lived in a 1 floor apartment, but now that we're on a tri-level it seems pointless. It likes to go under our couch and get stuck, and I have to remember to pick up the cat food or it will somehow go on top of the bowl. Our main level is like 500 square feet, some of which is covered in furniture, so it only takes a few minutes to vacuum anyway.

MeUndies
I have a pair that fell apart after washing once. I didn’t dry it either. I reached out to the company, and they sent me a replacement. I hand washed it, and the same thing happened again. Fuck those undies.

Ugh, same thing happened with TommyJohn undies. I’ve had several pair arrive with holes (where the lace at the top wasn’t sewn completely to the bottom), and the ones that don’t have holes get them pretty quickly (3-4 wears). And they don’t stay up.
TommyJohn pajama pants are super-comfy, but are so thin they’re basically see-through. The bras are good though!!

The Dyson Airwrap Styler, if your hair is anything but stick-straight. I bought it to blow dry and style, but couldn't get past the bad blow dry.
It's terrible for hair with any hint of a curl; it just blows up all the flyaways until you're a frizzy mess. I tried it at home first and was unsuccessful. I took it to my super Dyson-fangirl hairstylist to show me how to use it right, and she was like, "nope, this is terrible."
I believe the hairdryer now comes with an attachment that's supposed to hold down your hair while you blow dry it, but I'll stick with my $35 Revlon hot air brush that works so much better.
Bombas socks. There is nothing magical about these socks and then you throw in that they are $15/pair, I laugh at the ridiculousness of it.
I ordered the regular Bombas once and felt the same way. Then I ordered the performance version for running, and they are pretty awesome. Definitely comparable quality to my Feetures socks that are the same price.

Oh yes I agree with this too. I had wanted them for years. Finally bought a gift set of the crew socks for myself and they are so uncomfortably tight around my leg that I can't wear them. Such a bummer.
Maybe the lower ankle socks would be better, but not looking to spend any more on them.
For all you people that hate Bombas, if they are size small women’s and are crew length, I would legit buy them from you. It’s the only kind DD will wear. 😂
I tried the Neutrogena hydro boost water gel people have recommended to me and don't find it's helping me. So if you have severe dry skin I don't think its worth the money.
If you have dry skin you bought the wrong version. For extra-dry skin you need Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream. It is horrible labeling. They oook exactly the same except for that one word addition. The gel is not as hydrating as the gel-cream.

Yeah, I love the hydro boost water gel but I have oily skin.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask is really moisturizing. I don't use it often, but when my skin does feel dry it is great.

Dammit. And it was not cheap
Eta I see the difference now on amazon and I am angry at Neutrogena now

I would see if they will return it. My local Costco for the first time in years has the Gel-cream. Occasionally ibotta has $3 off which has luckily sync’d up with store sales. I stocked up last time the combo was available. Sadly not on ibotta currently but comes up often. I’ve like it a lot. Prior to this product I was using Algenist Genius which I loved but way too pricey for my current budget. It was super hydrating and I would mainly use at night because so heavy. I have very dry sensitive skin and until I discovered Hydro Boost was pretty much the only heavier product that didn’t make my skin super red and actually moisturized.

I like my Bombas socks, but I recently bought a pack of Puma socks at Costco and find myself reaching for them more often. They fit well and are the perfect thickness. They fit well in shoes, but are warm. I really like them. Also, way cheaper, obviously. We’ll see how they hold up.

I have quite a few that have held up really well -they're super comfy for me! My only complaint is that I bought a grab bag one time (10 pairs) and 5 of them were the same marijuana print If I break my legs or something and someone needs to come take care of our laundry they're going to be really concerned.

Ha! My comparison is to these same Puma socks and I couldn’t agree more!

I have pretty curly hair, and I love mine! (I normally use the brush/round brush attachments)
