The Conservative politician accused of watching porn on his phone in the House of Commons has announced he will step down as an MP after facing calls to resign.
Neil Parish, the MP for Tiverton and Honiton in Devon, had already had the Tory whip removed and suggested he had opened the porn “in error”. He previously said he would only resign if found guilty by an inquiry into his actions.
In an emotional interview with BBC News South West, he said a first incident was accidental as he had been looking at tractors but that a second time was deliberate.
Dozens of MPs facing allegations of sexual misconduct include three members of Boris Johnson’s cabinet, it was claimed yesterday.
The list of 56 reported under the Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme (ICGS) also features two Labour shadow ministers, according to the Sunday Times.
The allegations range from making sexually inappropriate comments to more serious wrongdoing, the paper said.
At least one MP — accused of bribing a member of staff to give him sexual favours — is reported to have been accused of criminality.

PA's governor's term is up (can't run again), so we're choosing among four candidates for the dem primary, and there's already hand-wringing about "electability." ARGH.

is this the office John Fetterman is running for? Or is it senate? (or is it neither of the above and I'm even more confused then I thought)

He's running for Senate, and there's hand wringing about electability there, too.

The whole pulling a gun on a Black jogger, even if it was years ago, is really problematic. We seriously need more women running for office *not that women can't be problematic or complete assholes too. I wish Fetterman's wife was running instead.

There are three other Dem candidates. At least two of them are great candidates, just without the name recognition that Fetterman has. Malcolm Kenyatta is only just starting to run ads in my area, and I haven't seen ANY advertising for Alex Khalil, I only know her because she's from my area.
