I'm still making my way through A Man Called Ove. It's good, I'm just having a busier month than usual and less time to read.
Anyone have a good thriller rec? I'm in the mood for a page turner after this one. I'm easy to please in the genre so recommend it even if everyone hated it, lol.
I really liked The Collective by Alison Gaylin. I also read If I Die Tonight by her and it was pretty good. Have you read The Last Mrs. Parish? I liked that but don't know if it's a thriller?
I just finished Klara and the Sun. Weird and slow, but pretty good for a discussion (we read it in my book club).
I'm reading One Two Three now by Laurie Frankel. I'm not sure what's going on yet, but I like the characters!

I recently mostly enjoyed The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf. I think it went a bit off the rails at the end, but thrillers are wont to do that lol.
Also The Night Shift by Alex Finlay and The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen(sp?)

Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins came out recently and is fun and summery! It takes place on a deserted atoll.

I have not!!
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I'm adding all of these to my Goodreads list.
I just started Katie Couric’s “Going There.” I’m reading it in hardcover, but I’m guessing it would be a great audiobook. So far, I’m really enjoying it. Very short chapters make it easy to fit into the few minutes I have free throughout the day.

I started "One Italian Summer" by Rebecca Serle. Not really sure if I am liking it or not as I just started. And I have borrowed one of my most favorite Danielle Steel books "Jewels". I can't tell you how many times I have read this, but it's by far my most favorite.

I like Megan Miranda, Ruth Ware, Gilly Macmillan, Lisa Jewel, Paula Hawkins,…
eb777888, Two that really stuck with me are A Stranger on the Beach (Michele Campbell) and The Truth About Melody Browne (Lisa Jewell) Also try Shari Lapena, BA Paris or Mary Kubika.BA Paris's The Breakdown is really good too.
I'm in a reading slump right now. I have several books waiting and just can't start any.
I'm listening to the new Chris Pavone book - Two Nights in Lisbon. It's pretty entertaining and I generally enjoy his books.
I'm about halfway through Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance by Alison Espach - it's very good but super sad so far. It's narrated by a younger sister to her older sister who dies in a car accident.
I was in a reading slump and waiting for books from the library so I’m doing a re-read of the first Harry Potter book. I just got The Lincoln Highway last night so I’m going to start that.

The Club is as a fun thriller with a lot of super wealthy characters so there as also some luxury porn. It’s by Ellery Lloyd and was a Reese’s book club pick.

I just finished One Italian Summer. I was expecting a love story but it’s not… I did love all the descriptor Positano (the used all real hotels and restaurants), and I cried at the end but still only gave 3 stars.

I finished the Sun Does Shine which is a 2018 Oprah's book club read. It was really good. My cousin was talking about it and I saw it was on kindle unlimited.

I have too many great books thanks to the friends and fiction Facebook group. I can’t keep up with all my holds! I just finished the wedding veil which is not my usual, but is a light easy read.

So far all I really enjoy is the descriptions of Positano mainly because I got to spend one day there on a shore excursion from a cruise. I would go back in a heartbeat to spend more time there and along the Amafli Coast.
I finished the Bridgerton series. Overall, I enjoyed the books, but by the end I was bored. I also read a couple more Fredrik Backman books, Britt Marie Was Here and Us against You Malibu Rising Ordinary Grace and this Tender Land by William Kent Krueger The Kitchen House Lilac Girls The Invention of Wings and The Book of Lonings by Sue Monk Kidd The Diamond Eye
Some were better than others, but I enjoyed them all.

Have you read the The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides?

No, but I need to because it shows up on all of the thriller lists! I think most of the board hated it, which means I will probably love it, lol. I got a sample of another recommendations here, I'll read this one next. Thanks!
