Alright all you Pub sub hype people., yes, a pub sub is good. Yea, it has a fun name. No, still not worth a special trip. Yeah, if you are hungry and near a Publix, go get one. If not, don’t listen to the foreigners who don’t know what they’re talking about.

Ive literally never called it a Pub Sub. Also, used to live where there were Publixes (Publices? Lol) and still regularly ate chicken tender subs. Some of us just actually think they’re really good 🤷🏼♀️

I also lived in Florida off and on for 8 years. Never once did I call it a “Pub Sub” and the cult following was real among fellow Floridians.

I have seen two hot guys in two days in two random places. Don't worry, just looking, happily married.
Yesterday in my COLONOSCOPY the guy next to me in the waiting room was really a looker. My husband was waiting with me and I even told him how hot I thought this guy was. So we are both in pre op together with the curtains down but I can hear the nurse asking him about his lifestyle. He was my age, on no meds and said he didn't drink alcohol. Sure that helped him look so young. He was also asking about having salad after his procedure and they. told him no he needed to eat white bread and chicken. etc. etc. Then he shares he is a vegan and doesn't eat white bread. So nothing against people who do that but I'll keep my regular husband. LOL!
Then today the UPS man comes in to work and wow! I had to help him for a few minutes and he's a nice "drink of water" I won't forget.
I love how the universe sometimes plops in some real cuties in your day. And back to back
Wait, are you supposed to eat something specific after your colonoscopy? Because after mine I've always made my H take me to Wendy's where I've gotten spicy chicken nuggets and a frosty. LOL!
Also, at my last colonoscopy the anesthesiologist was super cute. I also warned him that I woke up during my last one and he was like, "Oh no, don't worry, we're using different meds now." Cool. But then when I woke up during that one I sort of booped him the leg, and I remember he looked down at me and was very surprised, and he sort of hurriedly turned away and I was immediately out again.
I also ate whatever the hell I fancied after my colonoscopy- pad Thai in my case. I also woke up during mine! I remember looking at the video of my colon on the monitor and they noticed I was awake and said something about it. No pain though.

I do like Publix subs. Other than that, Publix is decent for a quick trip but definitely not where I'd go to get all my groceries. I do stop in every week for random items.
Also, I find their bogo policy annoying in Florida. Publix Florida, I believe their bogo requires you to get both items vs here where you get the option of a bogo or 50% off one item. Oh, well...it only effects me on vacation.

I love it! So funny. Yes they told us to only eat chicken or white bread or wait 8 hours and then eat other things. I proceeded to have a sub and a glass of wine in an hour and I was fine. I think Wendy’s sounds delicious. Everyone is hungry after a colonoscopy
And just to make this full circle, I had a Publix sub and it was great. The greek veggie. I love all of them and they are my favorite subs
I have not eaten anything dessert-like since Monday (Sunday? Can't remember). It's not awful. It has made me aware of how much I eat out of sheer boredom. I am also very excited about eating ice cream everyday next week while we're on vacation. lol
It’s really just a grocery store. If you need groceries, go. Otherwise you’ll be sorely disappointed.
This is how I felt about Wegmans. People were *so* excited when they came into our area. I could not figure out the hype once it opened. It is not really any different from Whole Foods. <shrug>
Yes! I was so excited when we moved here and there was one. I was really disappointed. The few times I've been there it always seems like they don't have something I need or it's out of stock, and their prepared stuff looks lovely but it's so expensive. I'll stop there if I'm driving past and only need a couple of things, but it's far from my favorite.

Speaking of hot man glances...I went to a national night out event for work last night. It's a thing to bring awareness about law enforcement to the police/law enforcement. Let me say I feel a lot safer in my town after seeing the muscles on some of these officers, lol. One def had his sleeves rolled up, arms bent just to show off. There were also a couple of jacked lady officers.
Now I'm waiting for a poll about what you call subs? Sub, hoagie, grinder etc. Save that for tomorrow.

I feel like Wegmans has really gone downhill. When they first opened here they sold all sorts of fun things I couldn’t find anywhere else-international foods, specific cheese, unusual vegetables etc. Now they don’t sell the items I used to go there specifically for so it’s not worth the drive and I just end up ordering things online.

I wasn’t blown away by Wegmans when they came to this area either. But one thing I do really like is their catering. I’ve ordered it for DD’s birthday a few times and it’s always well received. Sandwich trays, chicken fingers, pizza, salad etc. I can order it the day before and they bring it to the car when I arrive. Makes it so easy.
