If I was a chaos gremlin, I'd work out with someone else to flip my vote, while they kept theirs... and then the next vote go back to my previous vote, and they flipped...
CSPAN just clarified that McCarthy needs 217 votes - so they need 3 more to flip. Or if they can get the two missing members back, he would need 218 and just 2 of the holdouts to flip.

Yes I think either:
-he flips Rosendale & Crane (I think Biggs, Boebert, Good, and Gaetz are never going to flip) and every other GOP member is present.
OR
-Enough Democrats are absent to lower the threshold and every other GOP member is present.

It honestly sucks- we sent these people to Washington to work & their ability to do their job is being blocked by these ass clows who want to see the government fail.
We need a functioning government & the GOP has zero interest in actually governing.

Republican Keith Self (Texas), one of the members who recently flipped their vote to Kevin McCarthy, said that a key part of the agreement for him is maintaining 2022 spending levels โ which would mean a $75 billion cut in the military. Asked whether he is open to exempting defense spending, Self said โweโre working on that.โ He stressed the deal is still fluid and being hammered out now.[\quote]
