My 15 mo old fell off the playground yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it. I was with her but she just walked right off the open area before I could even react. Ugh it was so scary. This child is going to do me in, she is so different and wild from my first.
It’s the second child! DS is my accident prone kid. I swear I have aged 10 additional years since his birth. I hope your baby is okay
We have a wedding near LA this fall and the bride and groom want to go to Disneyland after so we decided to join them for 1 day. It will be kid free. It was cheaper to book a room with a king + bunk beds than just a king. WTF?!? Guess we will have our choice of beds. But also...OMG at the rates of the Disneyland hotels!! So pricey!
I’m annoyed at T Swift. We have a wedding in Philly the same weekend she is having 4 shows. Rates that are typically $$ are now $$$$$$$$$$. One hotel is charging us $600 a night when prior to her announcement it was $175! I’m so mad we didn’t book when we first looked
Is it normal to sort of feel a new crown? He kept asking how it felt yesterday but my mouth was still numb. It just feels a little weird. Like one tooth is a tap shoe.
Yeah that’s no good. As annoying as it is to go back, you should. That’s an easy fix.
Monday is probably a splash pad and theme park. I'm in Florida so I'm enjoying warm temps without the humidity. In two months it will be like the devil's armpit and you don't have to be jealous anymore.
The Florida strawberry festival?! I love that event!
Close, the Florida State Fair. But depending if the girls like the fair I might go to that one in a couple of weeks. It's been years since I've been to the Strawberry Festival, but it's always fun.

seriously! I could never handle more kids if my first had been like this lol. Thanks, shes been fine she very luckily hit her butt/side. It was prob a 6ft drop though I just can't stop imagining her landing a different way 🫤
She also got a little scrape on her knee earlier just while walking and my H was all freaked out about that. I didn't mention to him the major accident lol.
Nonny I hope she’s okay! That sounds scary! Sorry your dad is being weird too. Why do people act like this? It makes everything so much more stressful.

That’s so annoying. I hate that they can price gouge like that.
Awhile ago, MIL agreed to take the kids this weekend because they are off school Friday through Monday. I had the option of sending them to full-day care tomorrow, but did not sign them up with the reasoning that they would be with MIL as long as they weren’t sick and that if they were sick, they wouldn’t be able to go to school care anyway.
So DH’s grandma is in town and staying with MIL for two weeks. I was all set to take the boys over there tonight when apparently grandma changed her mind about having them because DS1 had a fever last weekend and DS2 threw up last weekend (both illnesses lasted 24 hours and they were at school all week). They are both fine. One is a little stuffy, but that’s it.
Then she changed her mind again, so I got all packed to take them over there. Now she’s just texted and said never mind, that we can bring them over on Sunday.
Guys. I am so freaking irritated. Like, it’s not the end of the world. They can play video games tomorrow and it’ll be fine. But, like, I intentionally didn’t sign them up for care because you said you would take them if they were healthy. And they’re not sick, so they’re going to be a pain in the ass tomorrow. And I have to be in the office, so DH will be on his own at least through the early afternoon.
I just find all of this so aggravating.
ETA: AND MIL is all “I’m understandably frustrated and disappointed.” *You’re* frustrated and disappointed? That’s what we’re concerned about in this scenario!? Never mind that I already told my kids they were going over there before all this changing of minds went down. So I get to deal with them being all sad now. And, of course, the pain in the ass that it is of trying to work with them at home. But sure, MIL, sorry you’re feeling disappointed. 🙄🙄🙄
hermione, tacokick, thanks. She's out of the hospital now and they didn't find anything, but they are going to do be doing an MRI for ~hand waves~ something at a later time. I don't know what for - my BIL didn't say, and seeing as how they basically spent 8+ hours today dealing with doctors/ER, I didn't press. I'll wait to see what they say when we talk for real, and not via text.
isabel that sounds like shit my MIL would do except she’d never agree to watch my kids for 4 days. Sorry—that’s all super annoying! I’d be making my annoyance known!
