As much as I want to say the Maldives, I really want to go to Istanbul and if i could drop everything and ask for a magic ticket to where ever i wanted to go this would be it for me today (by next week I might have changed my mind!).

As H and I are both stressed out from work and we're closing on our first house a week from this Friday, I'd have to say a fantastic beach vacay consisting of absolutely nothing so either French Polynesia or the Seychelles (preferably staying at utterly luxurious accommodations too .
I'd like to be on Tubkaek Beach in Krabi, Thailand. Gorgeous beach, amazing sunsets, delicious food, and $12 Thai massages on the beach every day! Mmmmmmmm...I'll nap, drink, read, and have fun with H all day please!

I am actually going to Montevideo, but I'd really like to go back home to Santiago. I love traveling, but I was on vacation for 9 days and am traveling for work this week and next week, and I miss my pup.
Thats hard to say because we love to travel and would probably go on a world tour if money and time were no object. But if I had to pick only one place it'd probably be south africa. If I had to consider what H wants we'd be going to Dubai.
If that wasn't a factor, Kigali and then on to the DRC to visit Mt. Nyiragongo. Though I'm not sure it's the right season... Oh well. In dream travel it's always the right season!
Wairau here we come! Mmm, reserve chardonnay with a blue cheese souffle.
I actually still have a bottle of their reserve chard in my wine refrigerator. I'm very tempted to just go open it but that doesn't help my lack of souffle.
I can make a mean souffle. Too bad we can't trade favors!
H is actually on your side of the world, and it's in a location a lot of those wineries export to. I'm hoping for a special present when he comes back home
But that's "real life". As far as traveling......that's a tough question. I used to answer Australia to this question but now that I live there I'd have to say.......Laos (I think). Tubing.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
