On Tuesday, Wood asked officials in his home state of Georgia to “retire” his law license in light of “disciplinary proceedings pending against me.” In the request, made in a letter and posted on his Telegram account, Wood acknowledges that he is “prohibited from practicing law in this State and in any other state or jurisdiction and that I may not reapply for admission.”

What's really striking is their push back in extending Medicaid coverage to include post partum. That surprised me only because I know military coverage extends 6 weeks post (barring complications) and it's generally the minimum standard that states use.

Also, that of the deaths they investigated in the short time of the panel all but one was preventable.

In a sense you are correct. But if it gets to a point of desperation on behalf of people whose promotions are held up, and readiness is at risk, there might be capitulation.

What I don't know is if these are held up how it applies to retirement. You're supposed to be at that rank for 2 years to get that ranks retirement pay. So will that force people to give up pension because they're just done? Do they, really wanting to get out, leave that money on the table? He's fucking people over in such a variety of ways. I know many stationed in his state. Multiple bases there.

His end goal isn't for constituents, isn't for security. Pure hated
