I’m dying that he went out of his way to say he was keeping the $15 while in his $8m home.
“Prosecutors informed the court that was not the Jeremy Rosenberg Trump's legal team was looking for, after Blanche complained Rosenberg was not being cooperative.”
I am already exhausted anticipating the heaping mountain of bullshit that will need to be excavated to get through jury selection today - and really every day of this trial.
I am also bracing for the unmasked racism and vitriol that will shape every single hour.

I'm also exhausted by all this. How is he still relevant? If I did 5% of what this asshole does I would expect to be fired. I really just want him to go away and have an election between 2 younger humans who have half a brain.

Jeez- he's such a man child --------
Among the Trump aides in the courtroom is Natalie Harp, his ever-present favorite who uses a wireless printer to provide him with an ongoing stream of good news from the internet. She was initially sitting two rows behind the defense table, as she usually does. A security official in court just made her head to the back to sit in the same row as Trump’s other aides.
"He's got some very pretty qualities," Cornell said. "I like the way his eyes have a kind of cat-like slant. I like his bushy eyebrows that are like caterpillars. I like that little pouty thing he does."

Trump askes to be excused next week to attend a hearing in his FL trial... (Judge) Merchan’s tone becames sharp as he questions Blanche. “You don’t think you should be here at all right now?” he asks. Blanche says that yes, they don’t believe this trial should happen during campaign season. Merchan reminds him that his client is a criminal defendant and required to be in court — his request is denied.
We’re going to be in DC from April 25-28. One family member really wants to visit the Supreme Court building and that’s on the agenda Friday April 26 since there isn’t time on arrival day and building isn’t open to the public on weekends.
So the Supreme Court is hearing arguments on Thursday April 25 on his immunity claim. Do arguments typically last more than a day? Do they hear arguments on Fridays?
I’m thinking we are not going to be able to visit. This is on the webpage. “Visitors should be aware that the business of the Court may affect public access to the building and visitor programs”

Stupid Trump ruining our vacation plans.
No there are very, very strict time limits on oral arguments.
April 26th is marked as a conference day.
From supremecourt.gov:
Conference Days: The Justices meet in a private conference to discuss cases argued earlier that week. The Justices also discuss and vote on petitions for review. The building is open to the public but the Justices do not take the Bench.

They are so strict on time, and their presentation time also includes questions so the Justices can and do interrupt the attorneys mid sentence. It is never more than 1/2 a day per case.
I saw a Supreme Court case live in college, an interesting fact, the Justice can mute the attorney speaking. The argument we heard, one of the Justices cut off the lawyer's microphone and said something to the effect of "no one is buying this argument, you should move on" and clicked back on the attorney's microphone. It was kindof epic. We also discussed as a class later like how weird that is, here you are giving the legal argument of your life and boom-Supreme Court Justice cuts you off.

Per CNN: Merchan excused another juror who said his child was getting married on June 8.
This will be going on for a while! Dumpster fire and his family are already bitching that the judge isn’t going to let him attend Baron’s high school graduation when the judge only said it was too early for him to make a decision. Maybe don’t commit multiple felonies if you don’t want court dates to ruin your plans?
What do people think will happen if he’s convicted?

Thank you! And thank goodness our Thursday plans have us stopping at the Air and Space Museum in VA before checking into our hotel which is not in DC. We will be nowhere near the Supreme Court building. I assume there will be crowds of stupid MAGAs gathered there.

Not necessarily. Here in NYC it's been pretty quiet on his days in court. It ties up traffic (like it does for Biden or Obama as well) but it looks like there's been only a handful of MAGA people outside court.
But maybe MAGAts are too afraid of the Den of Sin that is NYC.

I was reading a piece earlier that basically said they're fatigued from all the rallies and trials and are just kind of over it.
Once he starts attempting rallies after being in court all day, his sundowning will be in full effect. I, for one, look forward to more comedians making fun of his absolute gibberish.
According to FB, he fell asleep again today. LOL Man he's looking rough in the pictures. I read this recently and it is really disturbing that the media isn't talking more about his mental decline.

He's never been much of a looker, but he looks HORRENDOUS recently. I just mentioned to my H that he desperately needs some conditioner. His hair looks so dry and brittle.
Anyway--I've been reading the live updates on the CNN website and some of them are so funny.

This trial is going to be something else.
Wow fascinating. It makes sense, but I didn't realize they would comb through potential jurors social media. So would they look at our PBs post history too? I'd be disqualified so fast! LOL

i think they can only look at publicly available stuff- i.e. something with your name on it. You wouldn't have to tell them your screen name..
It's also interesting that the E Jean Carrol judge told the jurors to be secretive about their personal details, name, etc. This judge is a little more loose with personal details & people are giving identifiable details in some of their answers.

It actually kind of feels a little SOMETHING to me that all these potential jurors are being questioned so strongly. They're not the ones on trial. TRUMP is! And yes, I understand voir dire. I've been part of a jury twice.

This had a good breakdown with expansions of all the many ways he's in decline that seems to be accelerating. Many other experts have signed on to these statements coming in with their own areas of expertise
