He looks like he's having a rough day...this is probably the most he's had to do in ages.... Trying to hide / spoiler the photo so it doesn't annoy everybody!

We've got 6 jurors selected today...half way there plus need some alternates.
'The foreperson who was just selected — that’s juror one, the de facto leader of the group who will likely help steer deliberations — works in sales and enjoys the outdoors. He is originally from Ireland, but will help decide the former American president’s fate.'
Can you imagine a chance to sit on such a historical jury all ruined by a meme you posted 4 years ago?!?! What a time to be alive!
I’ve asked myself if I could be objective enough to serve on a jury like this. I’d really like to think that I’m capable of objectively examining the evidence and not letting my opinions cloud my judgement….and I honestly don’t know. I think I could! But I also really dislike him. And I’d also be genuinely concerned that a guilty verdict could endanger the lives of the jurors.

I'm not sure it's bias when the relevant facts don't seem to be in question. Other than trump just simply denying everything, and we have so much evidence that he's not at all credible, I just don't know if there's anything that would come out that would change to plausible deniability.

Part of me is like there is no way on earth I could sit thru a trial listening to this asshole lie over and over again but then on the other side, IF this is what takes him down, I would love to be a part of it.

I can't believe they already have six. I once served in Queens at it took 4 days to get 6 +2 alts for a hit and run civil trial!
The second time I had jury duty in Manhattan, it was a high profile hate crime murder case and it took them almost two weeks to find the jury. While it was a case I was familiar with, it didn't involve a celebrity or anything, and I would have thought the most people wouldn't remember that murder.

I think they're expecting to go through another round, at minimum, to further narrow it. I'm expecting they'll start with many more than 18 expecting plenty of challenges

The way it works in NY is all the challenges come before you are selected/seated as a juror.
Of course the prosecution of the defense could look further into someone and find something, or someone can report them and get them kicked off the jury. But once you are chosen/seated...that's it. You are a juror, they don't seat more than the 18 and narrow further.
"He's got some very pretty qualities," Cornell said. "I like the way his eyes have a kind of cat-like slant. I like his bushy eyebrows that are like caterpillars. I like that little pouty thing he does."
Ok, to be clear, I thought it was interesting from a history of the art perspective.…
So today he muttered something at a perspective juror prompting an admonition from the judge, fell asleep, and farted audibly. Banner day for the Republican nominee.

maybe I'm overreacting - but I would not want to be on that jury or any jury involving Trump. I would be afraid of the crazy out there and potential for death threats, etc...

Can the people researching these jurors social media accounts see everything even if it’s private? And if not…I’m surprised how many people have accounts that aren’t locked down. Or do they have special permissions for this?
Looks like we lost a juror....back down to 6. Conflicting reports about if the juror was somehow outed publicly or if the DA uncovered info that they had lied on their questionnaire- maybe both? Or maybe we lost 2 jurors??

Shit, one juror dropped out because friends figured out she was on the jury based on details the press released and messaged her and I'm guessing she got scared. How are they going to prevent this from happening to all of them?
Also, Trump is allegedly repeatedly violating the gag order about disparaging the jury. The DA is asking the judge to rule on it, but the judge keeps delaying until next Tuesday to rule on it. Why would the judge delay? To intentionally let Trump violate it so blatantly that his ruling is more clear?

My uneducated guess is yes. Trump is probably going to campaign this weekend and he won't be able to help himself.

Judge just said reporters can't report on things "off the record", so their answers to questions like where they work or other personally identifiable information.
Juror #4 is a no-show this morning & that's who may have lied?
A prosecutor, Joshua Steinglass, said that juror #4 or someone with their name seems to have been arrested in the 1990s in Westchester for tearing down political advertisements. After some additional research, he says, they also found that the juror’s wife was previously involved in a corruption inquiry and cooperated with the D.A.’s office. This means that the juror, if they’ve identified the right person, lied in response to one of the questions on the questionnaire, Steinglass says.
I don't know why we need all the reports about the jurors. It seems like an unethical journalistic move. Our local morning news had the occupations, etc. of the selected jurors and read them all out. Why? Why is it pertinent?

Not pertinent and potentially dangerous for the jurors. Highly unethical. I won’t lie, I would be afraid to sit on this jury, though luckily I’m too biased to ever be seated anyway.

CNN is reporting that they lost 2 jurors today. I just saw a report about the juror who said she the information released by the press made her identifiable to family/friends. Based on the behavior of his supporters the press should not be discussing anything about the jurors.
Judge denies Trumps request to break for Passover.
He does know he’s not Jewish, right? 🤦♀️
Omg seriously?!?
Dying…
Watch him try to claim because his daughter converted, he's also part of the tribe. I cannot imagine he's welcome at the Kushner pater residence. Aren'ts they, minus Jared, comparatively liberal? I know nothing about them beyond Alyssa Milano marrying a Kushner, and she's certainly no trumper.
