Does anyone remember Burger King having fish nuggets in the 80s? I really, really enjoyed them. We always went out to fast food, after our early morning kids bowling league. I was disappointed when they discontinued them. But, every time I mention them, no one ever remembers them at all. I know I'm not making it up.
What other foods do you all miss from your childhood?

Oh, I feel like I'm good at this game LOL
It was recently cut in the last few years, but RIP the Double Decker Taco Supreme at Taco Bell.
Also, I can't remember what it was called, but it was the McDonalds burger where it was split in to two sides of a Styrofoam package to "keep the hot side hot and the cold side cold". That was a good burger.

I liked the Flintstones ice cream push pops.
My family ordered a LOT of Shwanns or however you spell it. My entire 6th - probably 11th grade is made up of silver mints and the stuffed chickens, lol. We got lucky with the same delivery driver for years too. I think my mom even made him cookies.
Soda if that counts...Surge. One of my best friends (aka mega crush) was obsessed and bought Surge merch.

I loved Surge. Like Mountain Dew but MOAR!!
Squeez-its were great as a kid.
I miss the Mickey-shaped popsicles. I think goofy and Donald were the other shapes? The flavors were normal purple, red and orange, but I think the wider/larger molds made them taste better, because more flavor was released at the same time.
McDonald's got rid of their salads during the pandemic and consequently I have a craving for a crispy chicken bacon ranch salad once a week now. ::cries:: I would give a LOT for them to bring them back!
Also, an oldie but goodie, Planter's cheese balls. Ugggggh so good!
my family never did fast food with one exception: baked potatoes at Wendy's lol. I have not been to one in decades, but I have to assume they do not still sell baked potatoes covered in cheeze whiz with broccoli or bacon, haha.

Yes, they do still sell them. At least the cheese and bacon ones. Not sure about the broccoli.
This might place me more regionally than temporally, but I used to have these in my lunch all the time.
They still make them! But either I'm 800 years old, or the recipe for most Tastykake flavors don't taste the same/as good as when I was a kid.
There's so many frozen desserts I used to love. Vienetta. This Friendly's watermelon roll.
At my cousin's wedding 10 years ago they had those chocolate/vanilla ice cream cups with the wooden spoon, they were a huge hit. We all skipped the other desserts to have those.

Ohhhh thank you for reminding me of these! I loved those so hard.
I really miss the Arch Delux from McDonalds. It was the only thing I liked from there as a kid, I was allowed to get it maybe once a month with a shake.
My parents didn't buy a lot of sweet stuff or fast food, my mom was perpetually on some 90's fad diet. I remember having the Viennetta cake at a friend's house and I thought it was super ~fancy~.

OK soda. I am almost certain I never drank it but I loved the commercials and me and my sister were obsessed with them as kids but it always seemed like no one else remembers. I feel vindicated though because there was just a Slate podcast episode about it.
