Unknown. This is all unprecedented, so the typical order of events doesn't apply. The parole board usually makes a plan-what movement is allowed, etc.

I was watching ABC and David Muir said from his research this is not totally accurate. Florida defers to the state that the conviction is from and in NY certain (lower classes) of felons retain the right to vote. A Level E felon can still vote.

I don't know if he would care, but he'd look like an asshole. Floridians voted to allow felons to vote. DeSantis then passed a law that they can only vote if they pay all the fines, etc. associated with the conviction and then muddied the waters more by making it convoluted and difficult.

So I misspoke earlier in that in FL felons CAN vote, but they have a bunch of obstacles in their way, and many found themselves arrested for voting after 2020.
