Early Sunday morning, Trump posted on Truth Social that it was “God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening” and that he would “fear not.” Again, in talking to the Washington Examiner, he invoked “God” for his deliverance.

I live in Madison, which is like an hour from Milwaukee, and all my friends over in Milwaukee are on high alert today. Basically, everyone is afraid something bad will happen during the convention and bystanders will get hurt. There was a big protest march planned for 10 AM but I haven't heard what happened with that. It feels like a tinderbox.

Ohio has been pretty reliably red for awhile. Probably he was chosen for the Ohio rust belt association that WI MI and PA have too.

I was very concerned about Vance being the pick (and I thought he would be…) because now their side is going to tell the story of see this really smart Yale Law guy didn’t get Trump either at first, but came around.
