Tuesday randoms

A former elementary art teacher in our district passed away suddenly last night. He was probably in his mid to late 50s. He was a larger than life personality, always full of hilarious stories, and he cared about his students so much and touched so many lives. Everyone had a story about him. I wasn't personally good friends with him, but have lots of friends in his circle and they're all shocked and hurting right now. I feel so bad for his wife and 3 sons.

One of DS's best friends dads was in a serious accident falling off a ladder also and I feel so sad for him.

None of this directly affects me of course but its just a heavy feeling day. :/

ETA: I looked it up because I was like, that is so cheap lol it was Jan 2012 when they were $0.45 (https://foreverstampprice.com/)

I actually bought a book in the early spring because my son had to mail a bunch of scholarship applications and it seemed expensive but I didn't actually divide it. lol
