mcppalmbeach , I'm of two minds. I know several people who would have said they were casual/social coke users and have since ruined their lives - employment, relationships, housing, and potentially legal issues. That said, are there probably people I know who use casually that I don't know about because I avoid anything that resembles going out on weekends? Yes, probably.
beerlover did anyone else mention it in the group? That’s crazy! My H had an after school special moment declining an offer to partake lol. But I can go have drinks and not drink again for six minths or longer so it seems feasible I guess that someone could do the same things with harder drugs.
I think the consensus among the guys was like "oh, that's just X, he's wild" and that was basically it, lol.
I absolutely loved my self-indulgent weekend (I had chocolate cheesecake for dinner last night).
And within an hour of getting home, we found out DS has impetigo. The doctor at the clinic gave him antibiotics, but also cleared him for school tomorrow! He's got crusty red sores and will have only had 12 hours of antibiotics, but Dr says he can go to school.
We nixed that and he's staying home.
Liking your self-indulgent weekend, not so much the impetigo.
spindle92, mysteriouswife, isn't rake also an old fashioned word for a handsome man? I could see wanting to use it as a name with that meaning in mind.

I think the meaning has more of a 'womanizer/playboy' vibe than just being a desirable man.
True random question. Anyone color their hair an ash blonde color? What's the maintenance like?
I did for years. My whites are coming in enough, that stopped about 6 months ago.
My natural hair is kind of "bronde" and while the base is pretty neutral, it will pull gold when colored. Initially, I did a darker ash base (for texture mostly) with lighter ash foils. As my whites are coming in bigtime, I was doing just foils around my face to blend them in.
My hair is naturally neutral in tone, but it pulls gold really easily. I'm hoping once I grow out the last 5" of previously colored hair this might improve. Maintenance for me meant being careful with products-- no sulfates, parabens, phlalates, etc. I also avoid purple shampoos as they tend to be really harsh which sucks because they do temporarily make your hair look good. IGK "Mixed Feelings" color drops can replicate the look; I add them to my detangler. My stylist sometimes uses a toner.
I have to be really careful about sun fading the color and wear a hat if I'm outdoors for more than a dash to the car.

Thanks for the info! I don't think I could keep up with maintenance. Back to the drawing board!
