I'm currently working on, hopefully, being selected to become a MC officer which includes physical fitness preparation. I'm using the workout time to also prepare for a half marathon that I want to participate in if I don't get selected.
I have a few mountain bike races in June including the largest one of the season.
Other than that, my goal for the spring/summer is just to have fun. Serious training will begin in Sept. for cyclocross. I have to keep up with allez this year!!
Still trying to "recover" from PF. Was running 25-30 miles a week in training for the Disney Princess Half in February (which was awesome!) Haven't done much since the half and am feeling very fat and lazy at the moment. Really just need to start moving again and doing things that don't hurt my foot. Hoping to get back to running in time to train for a 10K in August. I tanked that race last year and want to redeem myself this year!
My goals, in no particular order: 1. PR at the Madison Marathon 2. Half marathon PR in the fall 3. Get the balls to join a local running group 4. Get control of my eating (might be easier after I'm done marathon training )
Currently training for a few races this year, a 5k trail race tomorrow, a 5k road race next Thursday, a 5k color run in July and a 5k obstacle course in October ( wow ths is a lot when I list it all out like that!). I would like to get my time to a good solid 10 minute mile. Right now I am hovering at a 10:30, so I am close. Also, I would like to lose about 10 more pounds which I am struggling with.

I'm focusing on getting into a rhythm of getting up and working out every morning. I have a few races I'm either registered for or are keeping an eye on, but my bigger focus right now is being more consistent. Run 3-4 times a week, strength train 2-3 times a week and take one yoga class.

This summer is for building a running base so I don't get injured while training for the Colorado Marathon half (a whole year from now!) I am really sad I missed the 10k this year, but had wanted to do the half anyway. I will do sporadic 5k's and 10k's but mostly I am just going to focus on fitness!
Nada. It's really frustrating for me right now, but I don't really know when I'll be able to run, or how it'll go when I start. I'm still swimming & biking.
I want to continue to track my food and lose another 20lbs by September. I lost 10lbs in April, most of which I think was due to weaning recently. I'm sure tracking food helped too.

I would like to run a 10k in September. I can run 5k now so it won't be hard, but it will be my first race and it's a big one in our city so I'm a little nervous.
