Well, you already know I am a scientist, I've been to Antarctica, and I want to get a doxie. I'm also 30 and divorced, but I was an active poster when I was married, although more on D&R.
I have been wanting to get a compass rose tattoo since my divorce was final, but haven't found the right place, artist, etc yet.

Nothing too interesting about me here. I have 2 kids and am temporarily SAH. We just moved for DH's job (Air Force), and I'm going to wait until DD is about 6 months old before looking for a job. I'm a pharmacist, and the job market for us isn't what it used to be, so it may be a long search.

hmmmm... up to now have spent more than 50% of my married life living with parents - both in-laws and my own... when we bought our own house a few years ago I did a dance similar to maria in my avatar. It was the best day of my life the day we moved in.
I grew up in New England, but now live in the Midwest.
Administrative Assistant soon to be a Nursing Student.
Married for nearly 7 years with a 5 year old and a 2 year old.
In my life before DH and kids, I was an ESL teacher in Japan for 2 years and a wedding photographer for several more. I still shoot weddings and portraits on occasion, but don't have nearly as much time anymore.

I was a lurker the last two years after DD was born, but before that I was a regular.
My secret is that no matter how much our finances suck income wise, I don't have to worry so much because I get $1000 a month from a trust fund that was left to me when my grandfather died. I still whine incessantly about our budget though because I prefer to live without that money. But logically, I know I need to STFU. We had a few rough months where without that money we would have been in real trouble.
Also, my parents spent a ludicrous amount on my education and I've done really nothing with it. I spent about 3 years in HR and now have moved to working as a paralegal. I have no ambition really beyond that. I just want to collect my pay and stick to a simple moderate middle-class life on purpose. My family is horrified by this.
I guess I'm a semi-lurker, since I post sometimes. I'm about to celebrate my 6-year dating anniversary with my fiance and we're getting married in a few months.
I like lurking/posting on MM because in real life money can be such a taboo topic, so it's good to get frank advice on the topic here.
Married 5 years. Together 13 years. No kids. I used to be very active on my local knot board in the glory days of 2006. Lurked on the nest since then. No hidden talent; never met a celeb, no famous relatives, and I know nothing about 50 shades of grey. I'm boring.

When I was 1, we lived in Key West. My parents took me to the aquarium for the day. I leaned on the railing to look into one of the tanks, the railing broke, and I fell into the shark tank and landed on the back of a snapping turtle. My mom had to jump in and get me.
MM: I spent 8 years in college + grad school for to test people's hearing for a living. Some of it was paid for by scholarship, but I also racked up some student loans. They cause me guilt, because DH has none.
Random: It's ironic that I test people's hearing for a living, because i'm slowly losing my hearing as a 20-something. Partially due to my occupation, I'm reasonably fluent in American Sign Language. If I could go back in time, I would also have learned Spanish. I am a language nerd.

I'm married and have a love for weird pets. I have rats, snake and an old tarantula currently. Looking to get an axolotl when I have more time to set up a tank.
I am an MM lurker! I am a pretty awesome geek. I am a Statistician and I do research in Women's Health. And I love it!
DH and I also just got a puppy!!! Her name is Penny!
You're puppy is ADORABLE! We want to get a dog but we're waiting until the majority of our construction projects are done and we can really spend some time with him/her.

I'm not that interesting but... I'm from South Carolina. I'm finally getting my degree in Business Management. My husband and I have been married for just over a year now. The only "famous" person/people I'm related to are Peyton and Eli Manning. We are very distant cousins.. and no, I've never met them and they have no idea as to who I am

Was a lurker for years, but am starting post more. I was a Chicago suburbanite but hubbys job moved us to a more rual setting. Living in a small town is interesting to say the least.
I have 2 and 4 yr old and a 1 yr old goldendoodle that I'm obsessed with. I hate tomatoes and I named a crayola crayon- Pacific Blue. I got a certificate and a lot of free crayons ;D
