I was on The Knot from January 2009-late 2010. I started posting on H&F on TN in early 2010. After I left my home board on TK because of annoying drama, I looked around for a more general board on TN that I liked. MM fit the bill.

I was on the Knot in 2004, then once they created the Nest I hopped over to MM but mainly lurked until recently. So much for all the points I racked up trying to become Bronze!
I started out on The Knot, quickly got bored with the wedding talk (even though mine is still a few months off now) and started checking out The Nest boards. I think I headed straight for MM and found it fascinating - good community with good advice.

I came over from TK. Our month board on TK was pretty active but then right after all of our weddings, everyone started having babies and our TN month board died pretty quickly. I wasn't prepared to stop nesting so I found the board that most went with my background and joined in.

I came over from the knot after my wedding in 2006. Have been on MM ever since! I go through various phases where I am super active to not active at all.

I was on Babies on The Brain right after I got married. I decided I'd rather be rich, so I went to MM and soaked up some great advice. The ladies were smart and entertaining. I ended up pregnant and lurked for the most part bc of said baby
I came over from the knot about a year after my wedding. Actually, in horrifying MM fashion, I was hiding debt from DH (under $2k) that I had racked up from personally shopping over time.
I knew I needed to learn how to budget. You ladies helped
I came over from TB Working Moms. I found working moms when I was desperate trying to find balance between working, school and becoming a new mom. I switched to MM because of more posts.
From TK post wedding in 2005. Tried out my local boards. Have mostly lurked on MM and H&F since. My H and I have similar financial goals, which I like, but I take care of the day-to-day bill paying and saving strategies.

I came over from the Knot. MM seemed to be the coolest board so I stuck with it. I'm occassionally on TB's CD board now too. I used to post more a couple years ago, then got busy with the kidlet, and have been back but infrequently posting for the last couple months.
I checked out the bump when I was pregnant and realized it was full of crazies. Found MM when bored on mat leave and lurked from my phone. You ladies are one of the more interesting/smart/funny boards.

I came from the knot after my wedding. I was looking for budget help because we had just moved to WI and I wasn't working at that point (and also because I was new to the joint accounts thing). It was about 1 month after my wedding that I stumbled over.
Came from the knot, but prior to getting married. At the time, I was one of the last of my local to get married, so I migrated over with them. Then I started lurking on MM when we got serious about paying off cc debt.
Another one from the Knot. I posted a lot over there when planning my wedding but I never really connected with that community. I mostly thought they were a bunch of mean girls, although that's a huge generalization and many were very nice and helpful.
I've always liked learning about and talking about money, so this was a natural switch and I found I connect much more with you ladies here anyway.
