How did you end up on MM?

I discovered MM shortly after I joined The Knot. Since I wanted to talk about something besides my wedding, MM seemed fitting for me.

I came to MM shortly after joining TK. I was in the midst of planning our wedding and knew we needed to get our finances in order. I lurked for a while, stopped and then came back a while later and started posting.

I used TK when I was planning my wedding in 2006. After the honeymoon, wedding stuff bored me but I still wanted an at-work time waster, so I wandered over to TN. I lurked for a long time before posting, too.

I lurked on TK, then on TN only reading drama posts on TIP, ML & FM. Then I think someone on TIP linked to MM drama. The post was hilarious (I think is was a Lapsfam one) and I've been on MM ever since.

I was super active on my month board on TK, but that slowed way down immediately after the weddings, so I switched over to TN. I liked the MM board because of the wide range of topics. It also inspired me to talk with DH about a financial advisor. Best move we've made thus far. Now I'm here and posting quite a bit more than I did when we were actually on TN.

I used TK when we got married in 2007 (side note: pretty sure I remember seeing posts from ECB from then). After the wedding, i stopped lurking. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I found TB, decided they were mostly crazy and found a link to MM from the navigation on the left side. You ladies are a whole lot saner than most of what I saw on TB.

I think the way to get knotties over here is to spam their boards too.

TK wedding board, then got called into Nest anniversary board, then but it was slow so I started looking for the active national boards. That's when I found MM.
