Putting my new Bliss body butters away this morning, I realized that I now have 12 full-sized ones. And a few 4 oz ones. And at least 4 huge containers of other body lotions. And tons of trial sizes/samples
I need to go on like a 5 year body lotion spending freeze.

Baseball caps- I keep even the ugly, freebie ones to wear when I work out.
Hotel toiletries- DH brings them home and everytime we fill a box I take it to a local homeless shelter.
Peanut butter- We go through it quickly in our house, and I always stock up when "my brand" is on sale. I think we have about 10 jars in our pantry right now.
They are so pretty, but I never bake cupcakes. I always see them on sale for holidays and stuff. I'm a sucker for holiday themed cupcake materials. Then I tell myself that I will do a good deed and bake someone cupcakes.
But I never do, hence why I have cupcake liners and sprinkles for every season and holiday, and just bought some multi color heart shaped sprinkles last week. I'm a sucker for V-Day. I don't think I made any cupcakes in 2012.

True story: When I first moved in with DH, I opened a bathroom cabinet to find an entire shelf chock full of opened and saved hotel toiletries, all lined up in rows by brand. He travels a lot for work, would open and use a bit of shampoo and then bring it home so not to waste it. But then he had a regular bottle of shampoo in the shower and 1/4 of hair so he never used his stash.
That all went in the trash and no more bottles of Holiday Inn Prell were allowed to be brought home. The house is 70 years old, storage space is at a premium! Bringing home unopened ones to donate is a great idea.
I've tried really hard to stop hoarding things and to be aware of what we have before shopping since we don't have the space. I had a lotion problem at one point, I resisted the Bliss thread, thankfully. Too many deals! If anything, it's been baby toiletries. Shampoos, lotions, diaper creams.

Lol, that's funny he was so meticulous about it.
I put a moritorium on bringing home toiletrries for awhile, but when one of the social workers in our office found out DH is a pilot, she asked if I could collect for her. There are a bunch of airline people in the area that do drop-offs like that. Shelters always need that kind of stuff.

Laundry detergent. I can't stop myself when it goes on sale at Target, with a $5 gift card for multiple purchases, and stacking manufacturer and Target store coupons.
I have like 10 bottles. I've put myself on restriction from buying.
What's so good about the bliss butter? Anyone want to sell me a little sample or small bottle?
Nice and thick and moisturizing, and the lemon and sage smells heavenly (I have a lot of allergies to fragrances, but lemon is almost always a safe one for me, which makes it even better for me).
I'll send you one if you want to try! Scents I have are: lemon and sage, raspberry champagne, vanilla + bergamot, and blood orange + white ginger. Let me know what scent you want and PM your address?

Yeah he's an engineer, being meticulous about ridiculous things is part of the deal . He's a bit sentimental and an old soul too. I have to be the one to prevent the collecting, if left to his own devices, he'd be a crazy organized hoarder. He likes to fix things around the house and has an insane collection of random scrap pieces of wood in the rafters of our garage, just in case? I have learned to choose my battles.

Really v? Thank you! U can pick the scent jut not vanilla lol
Want a bbw hand soap as a trade? Not kidding here
Don't worry about it!!!
Is either raspberry or orange okay with you? They're probably my least likely to be used scents
I also horde the travel size lotions, shampoos, conditioners etc. The problem is that they get used, then I put them back away when we're back. But because they aren't full anymore, I buy new ones or take the ones from the hotel. I've tried to scale back, but because they are either free or $1 or $2 at the most, I don't care about buying them.
I also have an issue with too many plastic food containers. I would save them when we would get take out or something. One day they all fell on me when I opened the cabinet and that was that. I threw most out, but I still have way more than I would ever need.
Pretty sure eggs are about the only thing, but I don't think it qualifies as stockpiling if you just eat a shitton of them. I start to get anxious if I have fewer than a dozen eggs in the house. I currently only have TWO uncooked eggs. OMG.
But other than that, no. Two dozen addresses in 10 years = no stockpiling.

Toilet paper in amazing quantities. When we moved I locked up close to 50 rolls in our POD and brought the rest with us. We moved in mid-August and I didn't buy toilet paper until November. There are 4 of us that use the bathroom so this was no small thing. I am guessing I had about 100 rolls. : )
Lotion. I have probably 10 bottles of various body lotion in my bathroom right now, ranging from basic Vaseline brand to expensive stuff. This does not include the probably 10 smaller tubes of hand cream scattered around my bedroom, office, purse, etc. Also, multiple bottles of face lotion and eye cream that I stock up on whenever there's a Sephora sale.
I have a ridiculous amount of makeup. Eyeshadow pallets that would put a makeup artist to shame. Probably 15 shades of blush. At least ten tubes of mascara. Seven different kinds of shimmer/highlighters. And lip gloss? I have enough to last me six lifetimes. When you add on to this the overflowing drawer I have of samples from Birchbox and "free with purchase" items, it's almost embarrassing.
I have a shitload of Bonne Bell Lip Smackers. Probably 30 tubes around the house at any given time. I get anxious if I don't have one with me. After trying dozens of other lip balms, I always go back to lip smackers. It's the only brand that doesn't make my lips feel irritated/more dry.
I have about ten lip balms, but they all get used frequently. They are stashed everywhere. We do have about 500 bandaids since dh fit drunk one night and started shopping on eBay.
